Wasn't that the philosophy of the Liberals under Chretien, when it came to China?

Canada has little if any say over what's goes on in China, Harper may blather on about human rights there, but he turns a blind eye to serious human rights abuses in Afghanistan and Columbia.

Well iggy was one of those allies, so don't start spouting off too loudly...

Yes, during the henny-penny days of Bush and Cheney running around claiming the sky was falling and we needed to suspend all controls in their pursuit of security.

I doubt Ignatief would have bought into Bushs' war on terror with the heart and soul Harper has.

Are you suggesting that we do have some say over what goes on in Colombia or Afghanistan?

That is why both federal parties have earned the name DEVILS and it is up to each individual whether politically knowledgeable or not to pick the lesser of the two evils.
So, you'd pick the most evil? The Glibs are 2 up on the Cons in the evil deeds score.

What's the add campaign going to look like next election?

'We know you don't trust us. But we're not asking you to vote for us; we're asking you to vote against them. This election, do your part for the country to keep them out of power by voting for us.'

Most campaigns are exactly that. "Don't for that guy guy (or party), he's a bad man(party)". It's called mud-slinging.

If we don't have a say in Afghanistan then we need to get out... today.

Trade and diplomatic agreements between Canada and Columbia under Harper have helped validate a government that has murdered thousands of its own citizens, how does that represent Canadian values in the slightest?
