Hmmm....you mean not one of those 5000 died from hand-to-hand combat with the Taliban?

Okay. I didn't mention ambushes and the other ways those soldiers could have died but believe me, hand to hand combat would have been far down the the list. The Taliban don't do hand to hand. They prefer to wait in ambush or bury a half ton of dynamite in the road and set it off from a distance.

I see....similar tactics the US use ie dropping big ole bombs from on high at suspected Taliban strong-holds by helicopters/remote-controlled drones etc?

My guess is no, but there's always hope that you might join us in reality and show some objectivity.

The `reality` is, if you can pull yer head outta the sand long enough and quit being a yanky sympathizer, listen to the good General`s own words of admission.

The term `amazing number` or majority of those Afghans shot at and killed by NATO forces are/were of no threat. Whats going on in the moron`s heads deployed over there is anyones guess but it boils down to those in charge. Turning a blind eye, cover-ups and blaming it on Afghani dress-code just don`t cut it.

Now quit yer whining and accept the facts as they be.

The US lost this `war` long before it started it. It`s now just realizing this and clutching for straws and trying to save face. Gen. McCrystal is but another puppet for failing US policy and it`s war games.
