All's I have to say is I am surprised to find something we both agree on- I am also shocked at how almost nobody has a problem with it- sure it's nuts-and-bolts and boring, but I am surprised ANY supporter of ANY party could justify this kind of thing.
Nobody has a problem with it? That's not quite right. We have a problem with stuff like that, but the thing is, we have more of a problem that Harpy was using millions of our taxbux to diss Iggy in tv ads and promote the Con "Action Plan". It boils down to priority. We mailed a letter to the feds about the ads and other stupid uses of tax dollars. Did anyone else? Or do they just moan and groan here where the feds won't even see it?

but I still think it borders hard on using gov't assets to blatantly promote the Party.

Yup,to my mind, if the conservative logo is on the cheque, the funds need to come from the conservative party. It should be the standard gov't logo, and nothing more.

I think some of these fools are getting way off track. It sure looks like every one of those things was done separately, one would think that there was a 'standard' format for them.
