The wrangling with such a group of the atheists, is so difficult, and almost none of them may be convinced by any proof.
That's because you have NO proof. All you have is hearsay.

Their way or wrangling is exposed to all readers: only shouting, reviling and mocking, which is neither scientific nor even logical.
Again, you choose to ignore all the evidence compiled against the existence of gods n goblins. IOW, you wouldn't recognize evidence if it thumped you directly upion your beak.

The evidence to my words lies in the display of this thread itself: its title "The improbability of God's existence !"; see what a fallacy is this!
Right!! All you can rely on is hearsay.

The most probability is for God's existence as the causative and Creator of everything in the universe; but they turned it upside down only as a matter of shouting in a public auction.
It started out being upside down. We are only trying to right it. lol

So their way of wrangling is not that of one trying to reach the truth, but in a way to overcome others by their reviling, shouting and evading; and even some of them resort to some impolite words of transgression on others and on the majesty of God Almighty.
Sorry, buddy, YOU are the one that evades and reviles.Shouting? I haven't heard anyone say anything here yet. I read them but that's all.

Therefore, I may wrangle with some of them, here or elsewhere, but once I see any sort of transgressing the bounds of politeness or some reviling, I shall point to that and withdraw but after exposing all that before people.
You don't wrangle, you proselytize.

It can be summed up to just one sentence, that won't make a believer out of a non-believer but it does give them the knowledge of what form proof will take. Unfortunately proof may well be when some witness the (forced) end of their very own lives.

1Co:4:20: For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.
As Dex pointed out several times, the Bible contradicts itself 6 ways from Sunday, if you excuse the expression. I also have mentioned a few times that isn't lucid. How that would make anyone believe anything is still a mystery.
You are right about the imagination being powerful, though. It's products drive normally rational people into believing irrational things.

I didn't say I intended on proving anything. You are attempting to direct my intentions. Stop it.

You first.

Anyway, it isn't worth the effort of disproving the existence of something that has an extremely high improbablity of existing.

Neither it worth the effort to prove it's existence regardless of the probabilities.

I am content with the idea that there is an an extremely high improbability of the existence of gods n faeries, yes.

...and I really don't care. Your willingness to disregard the notion of god(s) has as much effect on me as eanassir's or MHz's willingness to accept the notion of god(s).

While the internet service is very bad, and I cannot keep with all replies and answer every reply in timely manner; but even though I shall keep up breaking the backbone of the atheism and all their fallacies, which they try to overcome only by their shouting. No, atheists; never, you are completely wrong, and cannot change the truth of God the Creator with all your falsehood.

See about his life and activities in the Wikipedia.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christopher_Hitchens#Use_of_alcohol

"Hitchens admits to drinking heavily; in 2003 he wrote that his daily intake of alcohol was enough "to kill or stun the average mule…."
WOW!!!! Some actual REAL evidence from eannasir. Will miracles never cease? hehehehe

The meaning is very clear and manifest: if a blind and a seer fall in a pit, whom do we blame more? Of course the seer is more blamed; therefore, the one who know a good deal about religion and God, he is more worthy of blame and punishment by God if he insists in spite of the evident proofs that God is the Creator and is the Cause of the universe and creation.
Why blame anyone? I would think that since they both fell in the pit then they are both to blame anyway. Blind people can get around quite well.
There are NO proofs of the existence of ANY gods, only hearsay.

You're essentially arguing that the less you know the better off you are because there are so many fewer things you might be wrong about. You might think that's a good way to live, but I don't.

Dexter, you may not think that is a good way to live, but that is how most religions expect you to live. Religions usually discourage probing questions and careful scrutiny.

You are expected to obey the Priests and Bishops unquestioningly (or Imams, Mullahs and Ayatollahs if one is a Muslim). Thus, one is not permitted to ask why a man is equal to two women (Islam) or why the man is given a carte blanche to rule over the woman (Bible).

The answer to such embarrassing questions is; because God says so (or at least the Bishop’s or the Imam’s version of God says so). Religion discourages a careful and objective scrutiny, that is considered blasphemy.
Yup. Politicians and clergy really prefer people to be ignorant.

Really, a person might try and quell question, the Bible certainly encourages asking all sorts of questions.
Adam was older than Eve, that should have made him more knowledgeable in that he spent more time with God. No verse can confirm that Eve ever met God.

The only one not under some sort of authority is God. even Jesus is under the authority of God.

To unquestioningly accept what the Priests say Scripture means is as foolhardy as blindly accepting what any (group) tells you to believe. Government being another example that dislikes being minutely examined, the difference is that the Bible (not the Priests) can survive close examination. Priests and Govt are not so immune.
Ultrimately a Priest is only there to offer suggested reading, it is still on the shoulders of the believer to read and verify that Scripture actually does say what the Priests are promoting. If that is too much work then don't bitch when what they say (and you believe) turns out to be greatly in error. In that instance it really is a matter of life or death. God told us what He is going to do, that is His full obligation. Explaining why is a bonus.
Seems to me that everytime science or some other discipline shows the Bible to be out to lunch, people scramble to figure out ways to reinterpret the Bible in order to fit reality.

Science digs the holes; religion tries to fill them in. Religion, it seems to me, is always a hole or two behind!

Well, thank you for being gracious, but if you don't want to wait for the normal course of the thread to turn away from the topic, that's not my problem. Eventually they all stray off topic but it appears you can't wait. Is this because you cannot show any probabilities for the existence of gods n gremlins?

Neither it worth the effort to prove it's existence regardless of the probabilities.
Quite right. If one knows he will fail in pointing out such probabilities, it is easy to abandon the idea.

So if you don't care about people's notions, why are you here unless it is to proselytize (as eannasir seems to love doing)?

Being too lazy to examine Scripture to find information that would clear up an 'apparent contradiction' is just that, 'lazy'. Your return is directly proportional to your input. Nor are you likely to be persuaded by any amount of words that it is your path of logic that is in error rather than Scripture.

roflmao
Fallacies? All atheists are doing is simply disbelieving in fantasies as being realities for rational reasons.
What shouting?
Sorry eannasir, you are most likely the one who believes in falsehoods.

You are right, I would much sooner read books that are rational and easier to fathom than your Bible.
roflmao Logic? As of yet, I have not seen any logical reason for believing that products of human imagination are anything else but products of the imagination. As I keep pointing out, if I were to write a book about my philosophy, it sure as hell would be clearer than the Bible.

Yup. Politicians and clergy really prefer people to be ignorant.
The difference being Politicians intentionally keep people in the dark, the darkness that surrounds religion is there because nobody is asking any questions (and demanding answers) If people are stupid enough to hand over money to somebody who is telling them to be quiet and quit asking question then they deserve what they get, and it will never be for the better. The same goes for politics, if the people who give them money don't demand an honest Gov then they deserve what they get. (in the case of America it is enabling war-crimes in which the citizens are equally guilty because the Gov is a servant of the public.

Seems to me that everytime science or some other discipline shows the Bible to be out to lunch, people scramble to figure out ways to reinterpret the Bible in order to fit reality.

When was the last time science had to readjust it views on 'how things work'?

Over the years I've answered all sorts of 'lists', no matter how fine the explanation (# of verses and passages) when a person's mind is made up it is also closed to any and all explanations. Raping virgins taken captive is one example, nobody wants to consider that when the virginity was taken it also included a marriage ceremony (that is a lifelong commitment) and it never took place before a full month of being taken captive. Years for those who were taken at a very young age.
The common take is that rapes took place during the capture, all that says is how the person who reads and sees it that way would react in a similar situation.

I suppose you have some sort of example (other than my example)in mind.
