Interesting how the tape begins with the words, "hello everyone" just like a Yank typically says.

This is NOT a customary greeting among Arabs or Muslims. The correct greeting is "Salaam Aleikem''.

LW, if this is what you are looking for in the middle of this info it explains that the British Mandate of Palestine ended in August 1 1948 2 states were facilitated.

The United Nations Partition Plan for Palestine or United Nations General Assembly Resolution 181 was a plan approved by the General Assembly on November 29, 1947[1] to terminate the British Mandate of Palestine by August 1, 1948, and facilitate the creation of two states, one Jewish and one Arab. The plan was approved by a vote of 33 to 13, with 10 abstentions. On March 5, 1948, the United Nations Security Council reached an impasse when it refused to pass a resolution which would have accepted the partition plan as a basis for Security Council action.[2] The United States subsequently recommended a temporary UN trusteeship for Palestine "without prejudice to the character of the eventual political settlement", and the Security Council voted to send the matter back to the General Assembly for further deliberation.[3] The General Assembly decided to appoint a Mediator, and relieved their Palestine Commission from any further exercise of responsibility under resolution 181 (II) of 29 November 1947.[4]

I can Google too Sock.

Your tale paints that tired old propaganda story about "poor Israel. Woe is me. Nobody likes me. My shyte doesn't stink". It's too bad you have to support the extremist view because that makes you no better than they who preach the cause of Hamas. The truth lays somewhere between and the sooner we all learn it, the sooner Israel and Palestine will fizzle out.

''no other peoples had ever established a national homeland in "Palestine" since the Jews had done it 2,000 years before''

The Bible shows that the land was inhabited by 12 Hebrew tribes. It was not restricted to one Hebrew tribe.

... interesting how Socrates' tape indicates that there never was a Palestine. The creater of that tape needs to re-read his Bible as it clearly indicates that Philistines (same tribe) inhabited that area long before Hebrews did so.

''Hamas is seen to be nothing but a bag of Iranian extreme fundamental sh t.''

Except Hamas is Sunni Palestinian, not Shiia Iranian.

Are you sure these videos aren't of Mossad agents disguised as Arabs such as those discussed in Ostrovsky's By Way of Deception?

Gofer what about this video where a hamas truck exploded and Hamas lied claiming it was the Israelis who blou-up the truck deliberately. If all evident are fabricated lies, who is able to tell the truth?

History has the truth in it; unfortunately many are in total denial of the truth for self serving reasons that stem back from the birth of the state of Israel.
Remember this on going war is an Arab – Israeli war, while the Iranians are an opportunistic bunch and by that I mean the Government, they see that, as an opportunity the Arabs hating the Jews, and decide to get involved by cutting a deal with Hamas even though they hate each other being that Hamas is Sunni Palestinian, not Shiia Iranian.
In showing the Arabs that, hay we Iranians are not Arabs but we have no problem bulling the Jews because they are only 13 million while we Iranians are 50 million, AND knowing the political ambition the Iranians are looking to achieve in the Middle East, to become the super power of the Middle East, the Jews have no choice but to defend the very little land they have rightly claimed back in 1880.
The truth is the truth and to argue with the truth is a waist of valuable time that instead of progress hate is born for self serving reasons, the reason here is very obvious.
The Arabs Hate the Jews and Iran is the mussel broker for the Arabs.
I don’t mean to go on, but should Iran push the envelope to uninvited territory, and we all know what that means (to persist) in taunting the Israelis I am sure Truman will be smiling in his grave, as to what he would do if he was still alive.

On October 3, 2001, I.A.P. News reported that according to Israel Radio (in Hebrew) Kol Yisrael an acrimonious argument erupted during the Israeli cabinet weekly session last week between Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and his foreign Minister Shimon Peres. Peres warned Sharon that refusing to heed incessant American requests for a cease-fire with the Palestinians would endanger Israeli interests and "turn the US against us. "Sharon reportedly yelled at Peres, saying "don't worry about American pressure, we the Jewish people control America."

To this day, the Israeli government has not denied this revelation.

Easy with the friendly fire there LW, I am not a cheer leader for the Jews but if you are suggesting me defending the Jews is wrong then lets hope that humanity will go for ever eating his brother or his sister, if fact lets not defend the Jews lets kill them all and humanity will be a better place, or if that is to harsh, lets HURT THEM SOME BECAUSE THEY ARE JEWS. No.............this is a recipe to a third world war. If the Iranians push on to exterminate the Jews a Nuclear holocaust will take place in the Middle East during the next 5 - 10 years. You can knock me all you want the truth is that Israel has the right to survive as a small nation, in harmony with the Arab world, but the question lay’s squarely on the Arab camp DO YOU WANT TO SEE PEACE ? LEAVE ISRAEL ALONE!!!!!!! Very simple LW.

Keep in mind that you would feel threatened if you lived in a land were your back was facing the sea and your face was facing the enemy the snake with many heads, 640 times the land mass then that of Israel and outnumber the Jews of Israel by nearly 50 to 1. So much for Arab propaganda! Trust me LW you would be sweating you know what.....
In Canada we don’t have a problem like that thank God...........

Quote

We the undersigned are all of Jewish origin. When we see the dead and bloodied bodies of young children, the cutting off of water, electricity and food, we are reminded of the siege of the Warsaw Ghetto. When Dov Weisglass, an adviser to the Israeli prime minister, Ehud Olmert, talked of putting Gazans "on a diet" and the deputy defence minister, Matan Vilnai, talked about the Palestinians experiencing "a bigger shoah" (holocaust), this reminds us of Governor General Hans Frank in Nazi-occupied Poland, who spoke of "death by hunger".

The real reason for the attack on Gaza is that Israel is only willing to deal with Palestinian quislings. The main crime of Hamas is not terrorism but its refusal to accept becoming a pawn in the hands of the Israeli occupation regime in Palestine.

The decision last month by the EU council to upgrade relations with Israel, without any specific conditions on human rights, has encouraged further Israeli aggression. The time for appeasing Israel is long past. As a first step, Britain must withdraw the British ambassador to Israel and, as with apartheid South Africa, embark on a programme of boycott, divestment and sanctions.

Again, Hamas is not Iranian. Israel rejected extending the peace accords last month and this largely accounts for the present trouble.

To this day, the Israeli government has not denied this revelation.

Then this

"May 20, 2002
http://world.std.com/%7Ecamera/docs/alert/geyer.html
In a recent column (“Now Isn’t the Time for Bush League Moves”), nationally-syndicated columnist Georgie Anne Geyer included bogus and inflammatory allegations against Prime Minister Sharon and Israel’s supporters in America.

First, she writes, “In fact, it [American support for Israel’s actions] led Prime Minister Sharon to tell his Cabinet recently, “I control America.’” CAMERA conducted extensive Nexis and Internet searches, and found that no mainstream news organization reported as true the fabricated quotation.
The hoax originated from an October 3, 2001 press release from the pro-Hamas group, the Islamic Association for Palestine. It said, “An acrimonious argument erupted during the Israeli cabinet weekly session last week between Ariel Sharon and his foreign Minister Shimon Peres during which Sharon reportedly yelled at Peres, saying “don’t worry about American pressure, we control America.’” Notably, in the same press release, a direct quotation changed from “we control America” to “we the Jewish people control America.”
IAP writes, “According [to] the Israeli Hebrew radio, Col [sic] Yisrael Wednesday, Peres warned Sharon that refusing to heed incessant American requests for a cease-fire with the Palestinians would endanger Israeli interests and turn the US against us. At this point, a furious Sharon reportedly turned toward Peres, saying “...I want to tell you something clear, don’t worry about American pressure on Israel, we the Jewish people control America, and the Americans know it.’”
According to the IAP press release, the statement was reported on Kol Yisrael. However, CAMERA’s calls to Kol Yisrael confirmed that no such broadcast exists.
Geyer’s second problematic claim is: “Look at U.S. television: One minute, you see pro-Israeli ads saying the Arabs are all dogs...” We could find no evidence that any such ad ever appeared on U.S. television.
Since the Sharon “quotation” and the “Arabs are dogs ad” are preposterous on their face, one would have expected Geyer (and editors who publish her column) to verify their accuracy before including such inflammatory statements in her column.
Geyer’s column, which is syndicated by Universal Press Syndicate, is known to have appeared in the Chicago Tribune and the San Diego Union Tribune.

Rice shame-faced by Bush over UN Gaza vote: Olmert

Rice shame-faced by Bush over UN Gaza vote: Olmert - Yahoo! News

quote:

''
"In the night between Thursday and Friday, when the secretary of state wanted to lead the vote on a ceasefire at the Security Council, we did not want her to vote in favour," Olmert said.
"I said 'get me President Bush on the phone'. They said he was in the middle of giving a speech in Philadelphia. I said I didn't care. 'I need to talk to him now'. He got off the podium and spoke to me.
"I told him the United States could not vote in favour. It cannot vote in favour of such a resolution. He immediately called the secretary of state and told her not to vote in favour."

....and then this

This excerpt of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee meeting of June 9, 1967, sheds interesting light on the attitude of Chairman William Fulbright and Senator Hickenlooper. The discussion was no doubt colored by bitterness over Israeli sinking of the Liberty on June 8, but was ostensibly about the discovery, by the American policy makers, that they had little or no leverage on Israel:
It is a fact, is it not, that neither Soviet Russia nor the United States has given any material amounts of arms to Israel, and, if that is true, are they not relatively independent in their thinking at this point?
Secretary Rusk. No, we have provided tanks and Hawk missiles and certain other kinds of equipment to Israel, but their principal arms supplier has been France. And I am assuming that France, Britain, the Soviet Union, ourselves, would have to be involved in any discussion on this subject.
The Israeli air force is almost all French supplied.
Israel had purchased most of its arms from France, because the US would not supply arms to Israel and refused most requests. Germany, as the hearings reveal elsewhere, had supplied Israel with some equipment, including about 60 M-48 Patton tanks (the number is exaggerated by some sources, but that is the figure given in the committee hearings). The tanks were being converted to diesel fuel at the time of the war, and were mostly out of service. Israel had asked for M-48 tanks to "replace" those tanks (they asked for a hundred tanks to replace 60 apparently) but the US refused.

The senators, and apparently Secretary of State Rusk, were perhaps ignorant of the fact that United Jewish Appeal contributions and other donations were used for reforestation, road building, building of the Hebrew University, building and equipping of hospitals and other such civilian projects. Arms were financed from taxes and long term loans. Without the charitable donations, Israel would still have borrowed money to buy armaments. The crucial part of the dialog between Chairman Fulbright, and Senator Symington, who apparently could not believe his ears:

The Chairman. The trouble is they think they have control of the Senate and they can do as they please.

Senator Symington. What was that?

The Chairman. I said they know they have control of the Senate politically, and therefore whatever the Secretary tells them, they can laugh at him. They say, ``Yes, but you don't control the Senate.

Come on now Gopher. You can do much better than that!!
