75% of the country have been revved up by conservative hyperbole...this too will pass...what we need is for the bastards to get to work at fixing the economy before it's too damn late...
If what you think weren't so irrelevant, I might actually take exception to some of your remarks...
I don't though...
Actually it is yours remarks that reveal who you are .
Hope I'm wrong .

Alright...so who am I? [/QUOTE

Someone whose arrogance I don't really care for; and I think that was very clear in my response to your post.
Also your question ..."Alright .....so who am I "? plainly shows that you are not a very mature person .

Mister ,let m tell you something .I have immigrated to Canada in 1964 .Then ,it was a great country ;envy of the world .The destruction of Canadian economy started in the year of 1968 and has bin gong on ever since with a small periods of time when it head a chance to recover ...... a little because of proper management .

Are you too stupid to be a part of "fixing of the economy ," by going to work and doing something productive for your country? Don,t have a job .....why? Too stupid to create your own employment ? Here in China over 60% of the population is self employed ; from a street vendors to a serious business owners .Or maybe you think that you are something special and you don't have to work and it's up to the government to feed you and to give you a place to stay.Bull ,the economy will be great when we get rid of bastards like your honorable self.

60% ??? self employed? HMMMM? A pan-handler on the streets of Canada is self employed also - As are Hookers and Strippers and drug dealers - Perhaps we may get to that level soon -

Just curious Vanni ,
but do you think Canada should go 30 billion into deficit?
can you afford the tax increase?

What would you propose the price tag of an economic stimulus should be?

Either way it needs to be done, or banks and businesses start closing shop for good...

Other G-20 countries have agreed that the amount should 2% of GDP, which in our case would be around $32 billion...

...and if Harper and his lackeys hadn't spent like drunken sailors, and blown the surplus the Libs left them, they'd be nearly there...no need to raise taxes if much of the money is taken from surplus...

Don'r you think they should have plan before rattling off numbers? i've seen nor heard of any plan, just a number. I want to know if the moneys' going where it will be effective. I doubt ther coalition could have cooked up an effective stimulus package while they were looking for the camcorder. If the Coalition was that upset about Harper lowering taxes and the other cuts he introduced, why didn't they introduce a nonconfidence vote then?

the 14 billion harper spent on tax cuts should be counted as part of the stimulus- I am not convinced of the wisdom of giving money to the big three, if their us parents go broke, then what? at least wait to see what Obama will do. Our banks aren't in trouble- they don't need any money ,iv'e seen no headlines of a bank crisis

I agree to the tax cuts being part of any stimulus.
I can spend my money better than anyone else.
Well except maybe my wife.

Sitting at my laptop
OTTAWA - Almost three-quarters of Canadians say they are "truly scared" for the future of the country and a solid majority say they would prefer another election to having the minority Conservative government replaced by a coalition led by Stephane Dion, a new Ipsos-Reid poll says.
The poll also indicates Prime Minister Stephen Harper and his Conservatives would romp to a majority victory with a record 46 per cent public support if an election were held today.

Polls run by the hour and the results change by the hour. Nobody puts much faith in them
