But nobody is really calling for Bush's impeachment either. I mean you have the rabid folks that HATE him but that will always happen. There is no real impeachment movement except from bloggers.

Why would the Americans impeach Bush? They let Ron Reagan away with arms proliferation...they let Nixon away with theft they've let their presidents away with everything short of murder. Geoge Bush, Chaney, Rumsfeld, Colin Powel, Paul Wolfowitz, Richard Pearl, Henry Kissinger...the list is nearly endless...all deserve to be judged by the people. As long as Americans continue to be willingly blind to the caliber of their government and its elected officials, who cares?

If you don't stand up for what you believe in...and apparently Americans don't really believe in a system of laws and justice....a constitution and a bill of rights....who cares what happens to them?

You know DB... you have become much more agreeable whether us "neo-cons" agree with you or not.

Try to understand this....

I don't care what party or what color your tie is or what animal you back...when the people of America let their administrations undermine law and their noble standards, is there any doubt about why the average Joe or Jane America harbor disdain and contempt for the structures of justice and law? If a nation is prepared to let the Ron Reagans or the Bill Clintons or any of their principle executives away with corruption and malfeseance, can Fastow or Lay or Martha Stewart or Oral Roberts or Jimmy Swaggart or any of the plethora of American icons not expect the same readiness to look the other way when they abuse the people and the system of laws that America keeps telling the world that they all subscribe too....

They're criminals....some get TV shows and some write books and make millions....

Crime pays in America and the people of America make that possible.

Long time ago, America was a true freedom fighters resisting oppression and subjection to the ruler's of old monarch and the aristocratically operating cabinet. Now, the irony: "We fight for the Iraqi's Democratically Elected Government vs. People Who Don't Like Us There."

We have nearly one million people writing in for impeachment on that one site. And there are others sites calling for the same.

Of course, you America haters gloat whenever you see how Bush is destroying the USA. But, that's to be expected.

As I said...there is not much movement for impeachment. There are only biased internet sites going on with this silliness and have no impact whatsoever on the people who can do the impeaching. Internet bloggers are no threat to politicians.

I just had to laugh at your second part. It does get the liberals all upset when they are told they hate America doesn't it? The truth hurts so in response you say that conservatives hate America.

Look again: I did not call you a conservative as that would imply that you had some measure of principle. And you obviously are not at the level where you would appreciate the value of having any.

Ahhh yes....one of the upward thinking liberals who stomps their feet when they don't get their own way. The ones who hate America so bad and hate being called out on it. Why do liberals hate the USA so bad?

Nice change of subject --- typical of those who lose still another argument.

What did I lose? What was the argument? I was just playing with you as one plays with a kitten and yarn.

Impeachment...is that the argument? President Bush will not be impeached. There is no real movement to do so. Therefore I win.

I'm betting that Gopher totally disagrees with what the Clinton Administration did to the Branch Davidians in Waco, TX. If so, then Goph prolly can't be called a liberal. Or am I just way out on a limb?

*edit* I still thinkthe Davidians were bat-$hit crazy, but I do think their due-process was thrown out the window by that man Janet Reno

What about the destruction of Alderaan, the Templar attacks on Jerusalem, and the world shortage of WII's?

It's a good bet most folks might think that Clinton gave just a bit more due process to Koresh and his gang than Bush did to Iraqis.

I bet if most folks had been burned alive like the the Davidians because they had a few guns in the house, they might not.

At any rate, I bet Iraqis have killed more of their own than we have.

And anyways, I bet a bit "f"ing comet hits earth right about the time climate change gets figured out.

I bet those cultists would not have been croaked if they complied with the initial warrant and hadn't killed those Feds from the ATF.

Of course they have. Iraqi on Iraqi violence is far more prevalent. The thing is... the Americans get blamed and creditied for ALL DEATHS in Iraq.

What was the warrant for? I'll tell you...it was changing semi automatic rifles to automatic. The ATF wanted a big show and the Clinton Admin was all behind going in there. They called for cameras and the news and got thumped in front of the world.
