Kind of hard when the House under pressure from the Tea Party put a halt to that. Or am I in error.

Yes - I realize that.But premiums are coming to Canada as well. Much along the lines of possibly Switzerland.
I pay after tax health care premiums now, one to the provincial gov't, the other to Blue Cross.
Can you guess which one is forced?
I enjoyed his book but I wouldn't say it made my life better. Maybe for that week.
As for the tax/spend stuff that is totally in the hands of congress. Says so in their constitution. For some reason they keep shifting stuff to the executive. Domestically the executive isnt supposed to have a whole lot of power.
Either way it goes I'm glad I'm not an American voter. Neither option is appealing. The so called "independents" should actually vote independent rather than the two big parties.

More instead of. Its like the old days when the GST was shown separately from the PST. Both were taxes but they each had their own line item.
