Sorry to bring this topic up again but I just had to answer this.

How about the UN. Is that not their role, or at least it was until the US came up with the " either you are with us or we will do it on our own" crap.

There should be no "on top of it all" when it comes to one particular country. Because, that one country will soon take advantage of their situation and that my friend is why you can not have a single country pushing their weight around the world such as the US does, because now you've really stirred up the sh%t all over the place......don't touch and it won't stink.
