What if god’s big test is to see how we will cope with other religions. If god does everything for a reason then maybe he also designed different beliefs for a reason…
Sorry to speak off the topic, but I haven't been in here for a while, and it strikes me now that the forum has turned to religious topics in a real big way. Or is it just a feeling that I have?
I'm sorry for the question. I thought this was a christian forum. I put it here because I was thinking about how when bad things happen some people say 'It's God's will. It's all a test. People get killed in the name of religion. It's ok to hate hate people that hold another religion and maybe even invade their country and kill them and I can't believe that any god would justify that. No christian or any follower of a belief should ever kill anyone or support anyone that kills people.
So I was thinking... If god is almighty and does everything for a reason then he also 'invented' different religions fo a reason. Because he wanted people to be intolerant and hateful towards each other??? It was a pretty stupid question. I just wanted to see what religous people would answer and maybe get them thinking about how they might not be thinking

How's the weather over there in mother Russia?
Hello, Cliffy!
Terrible, actually. We had a few sunny days, and now it's snowing again, and those heavy clouds I got so tired of during the winter. Can't wait for spring to set in, and it takes its time this year.
Are there not other threads devoted to the non-existence of God? To whether or not religion is valid? Seriously, you all are around these forums enough, to have honed enough conversational skill to be able to address the OP, even if only as a hypothetical, or move along and take up the side arguments elsewhere.
