The Brits will do nothing but endure the wave of immigration.

We'll see about it. You seem to forget that I was one of 4 million people who voted Ukip at the General Election on 7th May and if this immigration crisis caused by the French continues over the next few years then it'll be a lot more than 4 million people who vote for Ukip in 2020 and when Nigel Farage becomes Prime Minister as a result he'll certainly do something about it.

I find it funny how the French watch them all flood the tunnel and do very little to stop them. And the Brits are helpless to even shut down the tunnel.
The British aren't going to shut down the Channel Tunnel. Whenever the French have their six-monthly mass strikes during which, for reasons only they know, they like to blockade their end of the tunnel with lorries, it puts a huge inconvenience on the 59,000 British travellers who use the Chunnel every single day to get, for whatever reason, to the rather unfortunate European mainland and it causes a bit of a disruption to British trade when the 4,000 or so lorries who use the Chunnel every day can't get through as a result. The British don't want to shut down the tunnel, otherwise the continent would be cut off.
