And many feel that If Castro didn't create a communist state, America would have treated him better. I still maintain that the ball is, and always has been in his court.

What is wrong with a communist state? Why do you always want all countries to be like the US. The system used by the US is not the perfect one either. This what pisses people off.

Now back to topic - ownership of the Internet.

The internet is the making of every individual that used it and using it now. It is not the make of one individual nor one country. What is the use of the internet if we did not have the vision of Babbage? What is the use of the internet if not of the mathematicians from around every corner of the world who put the basics of the internet. The US took the parts and pieces from all these people and still do to make the internet as we know it today.

But of course, the US takes credit for everything. Like what we have now with the blackberry. It s made in Canada and by Canadians, yet the US is suing the company claiming it was their invention.

I am not kidding ITN. What is wrong with a communist state? What is wrong with a socialist state?

The US system does not work everywhere and can not be shoved down people's throat by force.

An arguement could be made that Saudia arabia is a defcto communist state. They really are no better than what people allege that goes on in China.

You are right No1. But the US turns away from Saudi Arabia because of the oil.

Theoretically, there is nothing wrong with a communist state, it's the people who run the communists states that have proven, repeatedly, without exception, that they abuse their power.

Socialism is an economic system, I don't have a problem with it.

As for your second comment I couldn't agree more with you, with the exception of eliminating communism.

The Bush administration is abusing it power ITN. It is a democracy. So your answer about Commuinsim is wrong. The communists leader may be corrupt, but what about the US leader?

Does that make Amerika communist?

I have answers Mog, I just can't believe you would ask such a question. In my opinion, if you live in Canada and you think there is nothing wrong with communism, you just fell off the turnip truck.

Is Bush going to remain in power till he dies or until he decides to step down?

Are you being serious here?

He would if he could. Bush is abusing his power. He is a loose cannon or a rogue leader. He needs to be stopped, forthwith before he does anymore damage and unfortunatly his replacement is no better and must go as well.

OK, now I personally think Bush is an arrogant self-centered asshole, with no respect for anyone, not even himself. But tell me, HOW has he abused his power. I am personally interested in this.

Lots of leader "would if they could", but that isn't the point.

Martin wouldn't step down either if he didn't HAVE TO.
