RE: underground canadian
Tobacco is a legal product. Smokers through high taxes pay their share towards medical, more so than some.
What about all the overweight people then? If they have high cholesterol from eating fast food and have a heart attack, should they be denied too?
You should leave the smokers alone and reduce the taxes, as once we are all gone it will be the obese people who will be targets next. A "Fat Tax" will be implemented to cover the cost of all the medical problems caused by obesity and to make up tax loss from non smokers.
Further more just go to the reserve and buy tax free smokes anyways. ($28 a carton)
Then they should forfeit their rights to free medical care (for diseases associated with smoking). Why should I pay if they knowingly and continuously poison themselves?
