========================================================================================================

IDIOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course natives own land!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Each tribe owns its reserve collectively!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The band council represents the tribe and deals with land ownership as a collective!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If a native wishes to move from one reserve to another- the Band Council RESERVES THE RIGHT TO VOTE ON IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is like joining a club!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If they dont like you then you get black balled and forbidden to join!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

probably the first thing white nattys will have to learn

POOR STUPID Hoid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOST AS USUAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A bunch of unemployed natives hanging out at a favoured drinking spot does not make a NATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hell`s Angels motorcycle club is not a Nation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Mafia is not a Nation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A bunch of natives living in the woods and dependent on white people for food, shelter and clothing plus medical care does not make a NATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Such an unemployed and too often drunken mob merely makes a political MESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And it is a MESS that our LIE-berals are ENCOURAGING by failing to take ANY STEPS TO halt the ENDEMIC CORRUPTION on reserves!!!!!!!!!!!!

LIE-berals consider that BUYING VOTES is far more important than protecting tax payers or ensuring honest govt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is an article illustrating how little concern LIE-berals have for honest elections in Canada! And I guess it also explains why LIE-berals have so little interest in halting the endemic corruption on reserves as well! With some comments of my own in brackets):

`Widespread' vote buying on Key First Nation, judge says as he throws out 2016 election results.

cbc.ca. March 24, 2018

By Chelsea Laskowski

'There is clear evidence of widespread and openly conducted vote buying activity,' said Judge Robert Barnes

Vote buying and other improprieties took place during and after the 2016 chief and council election on Key First Nation, says a federal court judge.

"The corrupt practices employed … appear to reflect a long-standing tradition and acceptance by some members of vote buying and other dishonest attempts to influence electoral outcomes," federal Judge Robert Barnes said in a written decision on Wednesday.

(No kidding! Natives have learned much from LIE-berals and civil service union Hogs about how to screw with the electoral process! Our Hogs and LIE-berals are engaged in a vast conflict of interest in which Hog votes are BOUGHT by gravy dispensing LIE-berals! Hogs get pay and pensions well beyond what ordinary Cdns get due to their unholy alliance with LIE-berals during elections!)

(In addition- Hogs employ the practice of “vouching” in which many anonymous strangers can vote at critical times- IF the Hogs say it is okay!)

He has ordered a new election for the west-central Saskatchewan reserve, which is near Norquay. He ruled to annul the October 2016 election on the politically tumultuous First Nation.

"There is clear evidence of widespread and openly conducted vote buying activity," Barnes wrote.

The allegations include passing money to voters, job offers and promises of work contracts.

(Gosh! Wynne-bag LIE-berals did the same thing in their Sudbury bribery scandal and walked away unscathed on a technicality! I guess natives still have some things to learn about bribery?)

Chief and 4 councillors responsible, judge says

Barnes said the election "was sufficiently corrupted by the misconduct" of elected chief Rodney Brass and councillors Glen O'Soup, Sidney Keshane and Angela Desjarlais.

Former chief Clarence Papequash, Clinton Key and Glenn Papequash launched the federal court challenge of the election against a large number of respondents, including the band itself.

Barnes rejected an appeal of the original court application, and pinpointed Brass, O'Soup, Keshane and Desjarlais as the driving force behind the "corrupt practices."

Judge chides failure to disclose information.

(All this native corruption is being fueled by LIE-beral indifference to endemic corruption on reserves! The Conservative requirement that band councils MUST post all their expenses online for auditors to see- has been killed by shameless LIE-berals who care much more about buying native votes than they do about honest govt!)

Barnes's ruling comes in the absence of evidence from respondents like Brass and the others on council. Barnes wrote that their failure to provide "long outstanding disclosure" in the case means they must now live with the results. He said evidence from those who witnessed the events went unchallenged.

Barnes noted credibility issues for Brass because he attempted to buy off the applicants by "offering each of them substantial sums of money in return for dubious offers of work" to stop them from proceeding with the federal case.

Long-standing issues with vote buying

In his ruling, Barnes stated the corrupt practices that took place during the election appear to reflect a tradition and acceptance on Key First Nation "by some members of vote buying and dishonest attempts to influence electoral outcomes."

"These practices appear to be sufficiently entrenched that, in the election to follow, rigorous efforts will be required to ensure the integrity of the process," Barnes wrote.

(Too bad LIE-berals are NOT the kind of people we can count on to provide those “rigorous efforts” to ensure election integrity!)

He also questioned the respondents for using the same legal counsel as the band.

(Oh! They all have the same lawyer? How does that slimy deal work? Unless the band and the respondents are in cahoots and cooperating to hide their slimy deals and wasteful habits from white people? As seems to be the case!)

"The Band should undoubtedly have been represented by separate, independent counsel whose sole mandate would be to advocate for the best interests of the First Nation and its members," Barnes wrote.

CBC has reached out to the parties involved in the court appeal as well as the Key First Nation and has not yet received comment.

(CBC has not heard back? And likely will not either- all this DIRT will be HIDDEN behind LIE-beral privacy laws that do more to aid sleazeballs than to ensure honest govt!)

Take away money given back in utilities and other services controlled by 'whitey'.
Take away the bribes and other thefts.
Add all the money that jobs create for 'whitey', would that make it about $244B rather than 244 million?

POOR STUPID CLIFFIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He does NOT understand that much of the world would PREFER to buy Cdn oil rather than buy oil from militant Russia or from crazed Muslims!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And best of all our oil is produced under more environmentally stringent conditions than that of other countries!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As for Cdns- we see NO GOOD REASON why we should be importing oil from socialist Venezuela when we could be using oil from Alberta!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course LIE-berals like Our idiot Boy Justin refuse to consider shutting off the Venezuelan oil supply since he is a hard core socialist nitwit - just like the Venezuelan govt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our idiot Boy is making choices about oil based on HIS POLITICS rather than on any consideration of what is good for Canada!!!!!!!!!

LIE-beral logic is so twisted and diseased and SELFISH that they cannot explain why it is better to have Venezuelan tankers running up the east coast than it is to have tankers running on the west coast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LIE-berals are so grossly selfish they cannot explain why they would prefer to buy Venezuelan oil and keep foreigners working- instead of buying Alberta oil that would put Cdns to work and save us a lot of welfare payments and social distress!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And- again- Alberta oil is produced under tighter govt regulations than the foreign version!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our idiot Boy Justin would prefer to dismiss us all as "RACISTS" just so he will not have to talk about this stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And the idiot Boy is planning to give out HALF A BILLION DOLLARS to Cdn news media "THAT HE TRUSTS" so our news media will not encourage public discussion of this stuff either!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alberta WANTS TO SELL OIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Selling oil is about the only thing keeping Alberta from totally COLLAPSING under the debts NDpers have heaped on the place!!!!!!!!!!

What Alberta WANTS IS TO SELL OIL TO CHINA so they can get a BETTER PRICE than what Yankees offer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

China is NO MORE HAPPY buying oil from Russia or from Muslim gangsters than Yankees are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

China knows that money paid to Russians will be made into weapons that will end up being POINTED AT CHINA!!!!!!!!!

But money paid to buy Cdn oil will be PAID INTO CIVIL SERVICE UNION HOG PENSIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rusia equals weapons and THREATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Canada equals polite and well heeled TOURISTS traveling the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CHINA KNOWS which side its bread is buttered on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

'Try it, you'll like it': Indigenous relations minister defends much-maligned Bill C-69

In a year-end interview with CBC News, Bennett, who counts Bill C-69 as the fulfilment of part of her mandate from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, said the bill is designed to do away with the "residue" of a system introduced by the former Harper government that cut regulatory red tape but paved the way for several court challenges.
"This shouldn't be frightening," Bennett said. "It's better and achieves the certainty proponents need."

Bill C-69 creates a new "pre-assessment" phase that will require proponents of a natural resources project to prepare (among other things) an 'Indigenous Engagement and Partnership Plan.' Minus the jargon, that means a report that shows how the company has addressed Indigenous concerns, what it's done to mitigate risks and what sort of financial accommodation might be in play. The government added this layer to get companies to address pressing issues early.

The new law also stipulates that, when making a decision on a project, the environment minister must consider any adverse effects that the decision may have on the rights of Indigenous peoples, as recognized and affirmed by section 35 of the Constitution Act, 1982.
Bill C-69 is one of the last big pieces of legislation the government wants passed before the next election. It's now before the Senate, where it is facing a rough ride from the Conservative opposition.

A letter-writing campaign, directed by Rick Peterson, a failed Conservative leadership candidate and an Edmonton-based investment banker, has generated tens of thousands of letters to senators demanding they overhaul the bill or kill it outright.
"Bill C-69 is so terrible ... it would be the hammer that drives the nail in the coffin of resource sector investment in Canada," Peterson said in an interview with CBC News.
"This bill would choke off investment in Canada's resource sector by imposing environmental and review standards that are clearly focused on a green agenda rather than on responsible resource development. We're not going to stand by and let that happen to our economy and our resource sector families."

A long article here are the highlights

Not all yellow vests are the same. In France, the yellow vests represent a popular movement interested in improving the lives of citizens by addressing systemic inequality and austerity that's grown out of control.

https://www.reddit.com/r/neoliberal...eoples_directives_demands_made_by_the_yellow/

Canada's yellow vests are not cut from the same cloth at all, even though they are borrowing the French movement's symbol, and serve as a convenient marketing opportunity for climate denial and racism.

https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/saskatchewan/yellow-vest-protest-different-france-1.4950839

In fact, it turns out that Canada's yellow vests are just a rebranded coalition of populist right-wing groups, far-right anti-immigrant groups, and white nationalists. You know, the exact same people who CSIS and the FBI identify as our biggest domestic terror threat.

There are actually plenty of Marine La Pen's Rassemblement National in those yellow vests in Paris. The common thread of the protesters is their opposition to Emmanuel Macron's desperate attempts to save the EU.. the Paris Accord.. and Global Free Trade, at the expense of France's economy. It's all falling apart. Macron's public approval has collapsed to 29%. The Yellow Vests will work out their differences after their prime goal of ousting Macron is realized.

Reminds me of Brexit where the Brits would work out the details after the vote.

Or how Trump would work out the details of building the Wall after the election.

Chaos ensues.

I suppose when you are in the camp that says everything is ruined and the world would be better off blown up then chaos is to your liking.

If you are in the camp that says the world and the people in it are worth saving them you want to see things run smoothly.

Hundreds of trucks roll through Alberta, Sask. with pro-pipeline convoys

Convoys of trucks rolled slowly through Alberta and Saskatchewan on Saturday as demonstrations in support of Canada's ailing oil and gas sector continue.
Police in Medicine Hat, Alta., estimate that 650 vehicles took part in a convoy that began on the Trans-Canada Highway east of the city and continued west to weigh scales before turning around and dispersing.
A similar event in Estevan, Sask., brought around 450 trucks, according to a police estimate.
Truck convoys began last weekend in Alberta. One event on Wednesday brought more than a thousand vehicles to Nisku, south of Edmonton.
Jerry Sabine, an organizer of the convoy in Medicine Hat, says trucks were driving slowly to show people "the frustration of how slow the oilfields are."
Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe tweeted his support for the event in Estevan, saying people across Western Canada are fed up with what he called the Trudeau government's indifference toward the energy sector.
"What a strong message sent today from the truck rally in Estevan," Moe said. "Your SK government stands with you in support of this critical industry."
Other recent rallies, including a large one in Calgary on Monday, have targeted federal actions that critics say will make building pipelines more difficult. They include Bill C-69 to revamp the National Energy Board and Bill C-48 which would ban oil tanker traffic on British Columbia's northern coast.
Supporters of Saturday's convoys lined the streets in both cities. Most of the signs they held had messages calling for pipeline construction, an end to carbon taxes and the defeat of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
A few of the signs also expressed opposition to the United Nations.
Jay Riedel, an organizer of the Estevan convoy, said concern over Canada signing the United Nations migration pact is part of the protest, noting he believed the pact surrenders Canada's immigration policy to outside powers.
"We definitely need immigrants coming into Canada but we also need to get jobs going for us and them," Riedel said.
"If we don't have jobs for these people to have, then our whole social system is going to fail."
Police in Medicine Hat and Estevan commended the conduct of the convoy drivers.
"Appreciate the public's patience during the truck convoy protest. Also appreciate the professionalism of those involved," said a tweet from the Estevan police that was attributed to Chief Paul Ladouceur.
More convoys are planned, including one that will travel to Ottawa in February. Sabine said some of the trucks involved in the Medicine Hat convoy travelled from across the province to support the event.
"We just put the word out a couple, three days ago, and it really snowballed on us," Sabine said.

UN agreement, delayed pipelines protested at yellow vest rallies across Alberta
