Stewardship is right. Dominion is a deliberate mistranslation. None the less, humans are animal and I view other animals as my kin.

That I couldn't do, as I like meat, and I know that they were put on this earth for our use. For me to consider an animal as my "kin" that would make me a cannibal. We hold dominion over every living thing. We ARE at the top of the food chain. Now I'm not saying that we have done a bang up job when it comes to our stewardship of those that He gave of us dominion over, but the fact, imo, is that is what they are here for.

The political right wants to turn back the clock, and besides they have nothing new
to offer in the way of progress with regard to the economy or jobs. Wait till America
sinks in 2012 and we are in trouble, they will not be talking about saving Canada it
will be blamed on a world recession. They are taking the credit at the moment for
the escape from the American mess but we are right behind them. and they want
you and I looking else where.

Gerry the problem is the sky may well be falling, the whole economic pattern is
following the same course as the last great depression. IN 29 the markets fell
and rebounded up and down with uncertainty until 1933 when the bottom fell out.
We are at the end of incentives and the money is running out to do anything
about the problems that are looming and they are huge. The American housing
crisis was not fixed merely postponed and the bills are coming due in spades,
2012 will see another round of trouble. But what will one say when the bottom
falls out?

"I told you so"?

Either way I think it's ludicrous to talk about the rights of conceived souls to life without first addressing the rights of our future generations not to be born into debt.

As it happens, I work for the government and for 30 years I've been telling everyone at work, "look around - everything you see here has been bought and paid for by people that aren't even born yet!"

Who gets rich off our debt-laden socialism? Capitalists. Hence my saying socialism is a capitalist conspiracy. And since democracy is the worst form of government (except for all the rest), idiots will continue to elect idiots who think that's a good thing. We're basically fvcked. Odds are abortion may well be doing those souls a favour.

After we kill every human to be born and take away our ability to procreate..

...how else could we ever survive?

I see a dedicated Liberal runs thru.

Actually, you see a dedicated pro-abortionist run through. When science can find a way for men to carry a embryo to term and be the main care giver as women have always been, then they can be allowed input into the rights of women re abortion.

For those who cite religious beliefs as the reason for being anti-abortion,please, remember that an all powerful being should be capable of seeing an impending abortion and not bother wasting time ensouling the tissue. Anyway, according to some religious books, a fetus is not ensouled until the first breath.

After we kill every human to be born and take away our ability to procreate..

Do you really think we should be allowed to survive?? Heck, because we are better predators, on this dirt ball, doesn't mean we will not outstrip our food supply. How many of our gross overblown population starve to death every day now??

Unless we can all die pleasantly with dreams of morphine and apple pie, it's probably best to keep us going.

Because he is into religion, because he is into control.......my word, simply look at the route HE has chosen for Canada, against how Canadians want this country to go. It does not want to be a clone of the US.

You're nuts. Harper is into power, and staying in power. He's not an idiot, he knows that opening up this issue is political suicide, which is why he avoids it like the plague.
