Say they do separate and form their own country and not join America. Which province will be Georgia?

If they form their own country in this "what if...", their politics would just be complaining at each other which province has what rights and they would not be able to form a coherent federal government.

Then Johnnny is going to have to go all Sherman on ya.

I can't imagine the U.S. taking them. We have enough whining socialists as it is.

Maybe as territories. Say, one non-voting Congressional delegate and no Senators per province? Reopen the old "Fifty-four forty or fight!" flap that was settled long ago.

Well hopefully people like Serryah & mentalfloss won't regret what's coming down the pipe. We're seeing just the beginning now. Gotta watch your tongue or else ...

As for Alberta Separating, I don't see it happening unless we can take a couple of provinces with us (SK, MB) to make it worthwhile. Joining the U.S. isn't what I'd consider a "smart move". B.C. lower mainland prefer to be under the tyranny of whomever is in power altho' the Northern part of B.C. have often said they'd like to be part of Alberta instead.

The future will be interesting for sure & quite troubling considering the tyrannical government we currently live under. It's pretty sad when even Xi from China stated that Trudeau was inept and over reaching. Now THAT's something isn't it?

Gee, I wonder if we had a referendum and the majority voted to leave Canada, would the reaction be the same as it was for Quebec? I'm sure we'd be called all sorts of names - wait, we already are LOL.

Unlike the Kay-beckers, who are only spoken to and of in Westernesse in the most respectful of terms.
