You remebber reading - what? give me a literary reference - otherwise you might just have been reading a novel for all I know - oh that's right - you don't need to give a reference - it's your opinion.

Reference to what, burning of the doctor at the stake? That was quite a while ago, I am not sure if there is a reference on the web. i don't even remember his name. Anyway, believe it or not, as you will.

In the Dark Ages, church used to burn doctors for heresy against the church.

Civil authorities burnt persons judged to be heretics under the medieval Inquisition, including Giordano Bruno. Burning was also used by Protestants during the witch-hunts of Europe.

Now, I don’t know if this Giordano Bruno was the doctor I read about or not. But medical heresy was a crime punishable by burning at the stake, and some people ere burned that way. But again, believe it or not, as you wish, it is all the same to me.
