SUV runs over flagger in video

A disturbing video has led to the arrest of a driver suspected of hitting two construction flaggers in Metro Vancouver on Wednesday morning, RCMP have confirmed.
The first flagger was directing traffic on 10th Avenue near Kingsway in Burnaby when she was hit by the white SUV at 11:30 a.m., according to RCMP Staff Sgt. Ken Moe.
Video of the incident taken by a bystander shows the SUV trying to edge into traffic from a section of road that appears to be closed to vehicles.
The man filming the video warns the flagger, "He's going to run you over," just a few seconds before the SUV apparently strikes the flagger, knocking her down and running over her with the front left wheel.
After fleeing the scene the same driver then hit a second flagger a little further down the road, RCMP believe.

Oh, those Canadians! They are such pranksters!

Unless it was a gol-dang Muzzie. If it was, this hyar's TERRISM!

Nowhere have I yet read an article that mentions the driver's nationality. For all we know it could be some whacked out American on vacation in our beautiful country hell bent on getting the kids somewhere - anywhere but in the car driving her crazy. How's that work for you, Tec? :p

From the article....

Moe urged drivers to be more careful around construction zones.
"By law, you have to obey the instructions of the flagger. They're out there trying to keep the travelling public safe and the people in the work zone safe. It's best to slow down and pay attention," he said.

Whoa ... let me make one small correction...
