Trudeau refuses to say if planned carbon tax increase still a go amid coronavirus

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is refusing to say whether the planned increase to the carbon tax next week will still happen even as workers and businesses grapple with the economic impacts of the coronavirus pandemic.
(LIE-berals claim they want to help us in these troubled times - too bad they ONLY want to help in ways that suit them - and they want BIG CHEERS for SMALL effort! LIE-berals prefer creating a big bureaucracy to hand out money instead of simply NOT BOTHERING to pick our pockets with their carbon SCAM!)
Journalists who attended the prime minister's daily briefing on the coronavirus from Rideau Cottage asked him whether that increase will be put on pause or still go ahead.
"We know that it is important that we put more money in the pockets of Canadians at this point when they're stressed," he said in response.
"Our plan on pricing pollution puts more money upfront into people's pockets than they would pay with the new price on pollution. We're going to continue to focus on putting more money in people's pockets to support them right across the country."
(This is LIE-beral speak meaning “none of your damned business”!)

Trudeau again dodged the question and refused to give a clear answer.
"We continue to make sure that people have more money in their pockets because that is how we designed the price on pollution."
(So - decipher the LIE-beral speak and the answer is yes- the tax hit is COMING as planned! LIE-berals and their idiot cousins are working HARD to turn a temporary govt aid and grant system over into a guaranteed income for life program and they KNOW they will need huge gobs of gravy if the “giveaway” is to endure and TO BUY VOTES for LIE-berals so their minority govt can survive! LIE-berals ARE NOT bothered by Wuhan Virus nearly as much as they are by impending Non Confidence vote that will END their political careers once the Pestilence is beaten!)
(In the most recent news - Trudope has been badgered into getting off the double speak fence and ADMITTING the carbon SCAM price will increase as planned! And Our idiot Boy has also let it be known that his MP`s will be getting their annual PAY RAISE as usual!)

The carbon tax is scheduled to increase from $20 per tonne to $30 per tonne on April 1.
For consumers, that translates to roughly an extra 2.5 cents per litre of gasoline at the pumps.
(LIE-berals are COMMITTED to killing the entire Cdn oil patch regardless of what it does to Alberta or to the entire Cdn economy! LIE-berals are like small children who have closed their eys to economic reality - meaning we WILL NEED EVERY PENNY of oil revenue we can get in order to pay back LIE-beral DEBTS!)
Earlier in the week, the Western Canadian Wheat Growers Association put out a statement urging the federal government to cancel the scheduled increase, citing strains on household expenses.
“The Canadian economy is facing a serious challenge. Adding a 50 per cent increase in the carbon tax is a further hit to grain farmers’ bottom line and Canadian consumers’ food bills. Now is not the time to be to be adding to our household expenses,” said Gunter Jochum, president of the farm advocacy group.
(Ah - but LIE-berals LOVE inflation - as it gives them an EXCUSE to give out new gobs of gravy to their civil service union HOG pals and other allies! After all loyal LIE-berals deserve a wage that “keeps up with inflation” - just do not ask WHY LIE-berals are so determined to CREATE INFLATION in the first place! And of course - LIE-berals get to pay old debts with carefully DEVALUED NEW dollars - while holding down interest rates and screwing investors on the value of their interest payments! Our savings are DEVALUED as investment interest rates are SET BELOW the “real” rate of inflation!)
(We have only to look at Ontari-owe LIE-berals pushing the price of electricity SKY HIGH to see the LIE-beral rate of inflation! Or consider residential property taxes that are 4.9% percent this year - meaning they are THREE HUNDRED PERCENT OR MORE above the interest rate your bank pays on savings! R consider the multi year SERIES of 9% water and sewer rate increases - followed by several years of 4% - 5% rate increases! Or consider your auto insurance bill that has only increased 10% - 20% thanks to Wynne-bag LIE-beral meddling that saw the benefits available for the victim of a serious accident CUT by FIFTY percent!)
(Ontari-owe drivers have the lowest accident rates in the country and thanks to LIE-berals we also pay the HIGHEST RATES and get the most CRAPPY BENEFITS! In true LIE-beral INSANITY - Wynne-bag LIE-berals tell us we pay those sky high rates because there is so much insurance fraud in Ontari-owe! While at the same time LIE-berals INSIST that crime rates are down and we do not need more cops!)
(In related madness - LIE-berals tell is illegals and other LIE-beral selected charity cases are good for our economy - but LIE-berals leave the room when cops start talking about organized crime rings using immigrants to “stage” accidents and then use immigrant doctors to justify major payouts for “whiplash” and other hard to prove injuries!)
(In a similar vein - LIE-berals DO NOT wish to discuss the 4 Afghan brothers who were allowed into Canada as landed immigrants and 3 brothers set up an auto wrecking and brother #4 set up an auto repair shop and they offered a UNIQUE service to Muslims ONLY! If the Muslim had a lemon car - the brothers would arrange for it to be “stolen” and to make it disappear into their wrecking yard - but not before any usable parts were stripped off and resold AS NEW - in the 4th brothers auto repair shop! The 4 brothers were eventually arrested and convicted of over 1400 charges!)

The coronavirus pandemic has roiled stock markets and small businesses over recent months as social distancing and border shutdowns hit supply chains and shrink consumer demands.
(I have predicted that it will take at least 12 -18 months before we put this mess behind us and can stop worrying about becoming infected - sadly it will take VERY MUCH LONGER to recover financially!)
Sectors like retail, tourism and the airline industry are feeling the brunt of the impact, with hundreds of thousands of layoffs reported across industries.
Trudeau said last week that more than 500,000 people have so far applied for Employment Insurance under the loosened eligibility criteria rolled out as part of the government's $107-billion coronavirus support package.
(I had predicted that the Trudope govt would survive until spring 2021 at which point they would fail to get support for their spring budget - and I see no reason not to stay with that prediction! Fortunately the opposition parties forced Trudope to erase his shameless power grab clauses that would have seen him entitled to completely shut down our Parliament and given him DICTATOR POWERS to tax and spend without any limit or oversight until December 2021 - NO CDN govt HAS EVER SOUGHT SUCH COMPLETE POWERS before in our history!)
