I re-read my first post and then read others' rational posts and realized I was way out of touch with the impact the Pope has made in his announcement for whatever rationale he promotes regarding the use of condoms as a prevention of AIDs tragedy.
As others wisely pointed out - it was a far leap of dogmatic faith for the proclamation and I have to give him credit for being able to
divide his teaching and his intellect for the good of the people.
