• Facts:
- the Harper Conservative federal debt in 2008-09 = $457.6-billion
- the expected Harper Conservative debt in 2014-15 = $634.0-billion (projected)

- since just 2008, 24% of the total accumulated debt since Confederation was amassed under "economist" Stephen Harper

Yep. The Conservatives entered into an idiotic stimulus package in 2009............

At the insistence of the Liberals during the 2009 minority gov't.

The Liberals wear it as well.

And now Martin wants them to do it again.

standard Harper Conservative supporter's response: "they made us do it"!!!... cause Harper Conservatives and their supporters will never take accountability for anything! Just what's the amount of debt you're assigning to that stimulus package... I mean it must be huuuuuuge, hey Colpy? How much?

so Colpy... that ~25% bump to Canada's debt since 2008... is any of that... any of it, attributable to the actions/policies of Harper Conservatives? Any of it?

Of course.

But you crying about it while supporting Martin's campaign to have the gov't go back to deficit spending for stimulus is more than a little disingenuous.....
