- I must say that I was impressed with BO's undoubted ability to tell the most outrageous lies with a straight face and a convinving voice and manner. For example, he prefaced and closed every one in his lengthy laundry list of new government programs with "it will not add one dime to the national debt". BO's been making that absurd claim for over four years now even though he has actually added OVER 68 TRILLION DIMES to the national debt.
- In addition to his lies, I was also impressed with the way he cherry picked the facts, grasping at the most tenuous bits of good news while ignoring the most substantive and worrisome pieces of bad news. For example, he bragged about six million new jobs being created on his watch. But he ignored the reality that unemployment is even higher now than it was when he took office and that workforce participation is the lowest in over thirty years and that there are actually fewer jobs now in net terms than there were when he was sworn in and that the economy actually shrank in the last quarter and that business confidence is at an all time low, etc., etc.
- As well as his lies and his cherry picking of the facts, I was also impressed with how he uses more innocuous wrods to con the rubes that what he is doing - transforming the US into a social democratic western European style state with much bigger government and the horrendously higher bills to be paid by higher taxes on everybody and by gutting the military and by borrowing from China - isn[t really so alarming. For example, he didn't use the term "government spending" because he knows that even some of the morons are concerned about government spending and also know that such spending tends to mostly go into the pockets of government employees so instead he spoke about "investments" by government. And he didn't speak about "tax increases" since most Americans are already taxed to death but instead he spoke about "new revenue sources" and BS like that.
- Finally, I was impressed with Obama's ability to completely ignore facts, logic and history and actually believe that the way to restore business confidence and investment and create new jobs is with ever higher taxes, debt and government regulations and that a dollar spent by bureaucrats in Washington is magically more effective and efficient than a dollar spent by entrepreneurs in the real world and the competitive market and that he - a person who never before in his life ran anything but his big mouth - was better able to pick the industrial winners and losers of the future than were experienced, successful business leaders. It all sounded like either BO has fallen even more in love with himself or that his great friend and dope peddler from Hawaii has made contact with him again.
- What a bloody farce is this clown and the SOTU address that his new speechwriter crafted for him.
