Under Obama the wealthy are getting richer. This real growth isn't being shared by the working class.

Under pretty well anybody the rich are going to get richer. That is just plain simple mathematics. You're the rich guy with $1 million to invest at 6%, I'm the poor guy with $100 to invest at 6%. If you check their wealth in 20 years, the difference is going to be far more than $1 million.

People just can't stand it when the numbers go in Obama's favor. When things are bad
they say he is no good when things are good the peddle the oh he's arrogant nonsense.
Sticking to a plan is the key to any situation and Obama did that and the critics and nay
sayers are now whining cause it worked. The used the figures to spread doom and gloom
now that those figures tell a different story they are not accurate can't have it both ways.
I like Obama no he is not perfect in fact he could have been more hard nosed on Medicare
and just Nationalized it and put it under government universality but he didn't because the
people are still spooked by some imaginary boogie man and they were hood winked by a
different boogie man Ronnie Reagan who is largely responsible for the mess America is
dealing with today

Nah, you can't blame Ronnie, too much water has passed under the bridge in 30 years. I'd be more inclined to blame the likes of Ken Lay and Bernie Madoff and Freddie and Fanny. Natural disasters are the blame for a lot of it. Everything from Mt. St. Helens to Katrina. The voting public has to accept some blame. How many of us vote for bureaucraps with absolutely no inkling on how finances work? How many people have we voted for who are going to spend our way out of a recession?

You really are grumpy.

If you quit giving us those f**king red negs we might cheer up a little! :) Merry Xmas, Walter!

I hate to burst your bubble by being right when I say the Great Recession ended five months after Obama took office and four months after the Obama stimulus package was signed into law. This fact certainly isn't wrong just because you say so.

It's also a fact that if Obama didn't sign the law, the recession would have lasted longer than it did or at the very least a period of growth significantly smaller than what we had would have occurred.

No matter what low turnout midterm election voters think, the recession ended, GDP has been growing for years, unemployment falling for years, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average is up some 170% since Obama took office.

All undeniable facts. Like climate change, the positives of vaccines and fluoridation, and Obama actually being born in the U.S./eligible to be president.

The link earlier in this thread about monthly average savings and spending revisions, an attempt to debunk the 5.0% 3Q GDP growth, just means Americans on average spent more in the months of June through October than previously thought.

Meaning actual spending by Americans contributed to GDP growth, the way economics 101 says GDP basically works. Nothing there to be debunked, and it wasn't even a good debunking attempt anyhow.

Ill be perfectly frank, Things will be perfectly fine for the next 15 years. And it's nothing anyone government did or didn't do.
Government can't micro manage this stuff.

To blame anything on a single person like the president is naive.
What a very naive post.

Hey Petros Since the anti everything crowd firmly believes frakking is causing earthquakes in the Texas and a few other states, are they responsible for the recent spate of quakes off the west coast? Say it ain't so.
