www.symantec.com . When you are there, contact them about your problems. However, like Locutus posted below, it sounds like you were the victim of a scam.
I purchase Norton Internet Security every year, for three computers/users, for about $30 ( I split this with my two sisters, so it's only about $10 or so that I end up paying). I have had one major infection in all the time I've had my computer (about 8 years now), and it was only because it was a new version of the Ransomlock virus that hadn't been identified yet as it was brand new. If I had paid attention to Norton's warning and steered clear of that site that day, I wouldn't have even gotten it. That being said, I was able to download the newest definitions before the virus kicked in and I was able to remove it.
JLM, you'll probably find that the scammers originate from a country that couldn't be bothered to root them out. I hope they would end up getting locked up, but I doubt they'll end up getting caught.
