Capitalism likes ignorance and stupidity too. It is much like religions who not only like ignorance and stupidity but activly promote both and have for a long time. With capitalism we can see the power of the god figure replaced by the power of money and method. However lets not rub the religious to hard because if the truth be known modern science hasn't explained the universe very well yet either, though I do believe they have a slightly better chance. The universe is not explainable in it's entirety to humans, somehow I think it will always remain out of our reach, and I know the probability of me being correct in that thinking is 100%. She's very very big and we are very very little and we won't last long enough.

There are many important points in this reply of darkbeaver, which are worthy of discussion.

But here is a group of people who do not listen to any logic; they are active after certain programs to which they are bound.

E.g. Scott who spoke badly about Prophet Mohammed and the other prophets, and said "Mohammed was crazy" then I said to him: "specify and enumerate by number your reasons for such claim; and to each point speak in summary, so that I can refute them one by one."

But he did not do that, and I said to him "you are speaking like the way of newspaper about displaying the subject". He said: "What? I don't understand what you mean."

Then how can one wrangle with such men, if you tell them the evident truth, they will not agree but only the idea which is in their minds to which they stick blindly. They try to overcome others by insisting and shouting not by reasoning; i.e. they do not seek after the truth.

And it is very strange, they consider themselves smart and intelligent, and say that the second person is stupid; but the truth is opposite that, because:

The believer in the true original religion of God alone; he may hope to be saved in the next world, then what they hope for?

Is it to be glorious, or for such pretexts: like they strive for the behalf of workers and peasants, as do they claim, but what will they benefit from them when they will be in the depth of Hell according to their atheism? And what will their party avail them in the next world?

Some of them will yet laugh and say: but there is no life after death!
I say who can claim this for certain? And how can they be sure of this idea?

The death is there, and it will evidently come, then doesn't man see that this way in life is standard: man is born, then will live for a certain life span then will die; and no one has ever remained from the start of mankind to this moment. So do they think this is in vain? This in fact is the proof that they are deluded.

Then when they die and discover that they have become some spiritual souls and they will suffer there; then who will avail them: Darwin or Marx or their other devils whom they admire so much?

The "evident truth?" Such as, there are people on Mars? Comets and meteorites are attracted to cold places? Comets are balls of fire? Meteorites drop gently to the ground and stay on the surface while comets blast out craters? You put this thread in the Science forum and have produced not one shred of scientifically acceptable evidence to support your claims, you've just used it as a platform to proselytize for Islam. If you must witness for your faith, put it in the Religions forum, but don't pretend it's science.

These are not truths; these are observations and discoveries; some of their observations will turn to be true and others false.
I didn't say the meteorites drop gently to the ground; but usually the meteorites are found on the ground, while comets will melt the stone and go inside the earth to be buried under the ground; the Italina previous expedition members now have an idea to go searching the bottom of Checko lake to find the remnants of that body which struck the earth surface at Tunguska.

These are not truths...
Okay, I stand corrected, but you have many times insisted those claims are true so it seemed reasonable to me to assume that's what you meant. So what is this "evident truth" you speak of, that there is no god but Allah and Mohamed is his prophet? That's an evident truth only to people who already believe it's true. I concede it might be true, I can't prove it's not, but I know of no evidence that even hints that it might be true. There's a lot of hearsay and anecdote around, but that's not evidence as science understands it. Besides, you're the one making the claims about the Quran and Al-Hilly's interpretation of it, the burden of proof is on you.

Since you've chosen to put this stuff in a science thread, there are certain standards of evidence and logic you have to meet if you expect to be taken seriously by people who understand science. You haven't done so, but have relied instead on logically invalid arguments from authority. "This is in the Quran..." you will say, then provide the Arabic script, which probably nobody here can read but you so I don't know why you bother, and an explanation in English that we can only take your word for. And those explanations are full of words and phrases in parentheses, so I don't know if the Arabic actually says that or if they're interpolations you've added for clarity, which rarely actually clarify anything anyway. And when I look up your citations in English versions of the Quran, and I have access to several, they usually don't seem to have much to do with anything you said. Science says many of your and Al-Hilly's claims are simply wrong, like the subject of this thread for instance, yet you insist they are right, you provide no good evidence that they are, and denigrate others for not understanding evidence that you haven't provided. What is the evidence that Mars is inhabited? And you tell us that if we don't accept what you think is true we're going to Hell.

I don't see any reason to take you seriously. In the context of what you're pretending is a thread about science, you haven't earned it, you haven't met the standards of a proper scientific argument. Again, I suggest you take your religious witnessing to where it belongs. It does not belong in a science thread.

It is more that politics in general love ignorance and stupidity, regardless of brand of politics.
Ah, but I do denegrate religion for trying to describe the universe. Science has gone far past any claims of religion in doing this. I must admit that using imagination one can describe pretty much anything one desires but it would not have any basis in fact. Science survives by facts and evidence. Religions survive by imagination and emotion.
Jeeez, Beav. The universe is a she? Don't go wacky on us.

lol You have no idea what logic even is. One has to be rational to be able to understand what it is.

Neither do I.

Sorry, but you are projecting your failings onto us. YOU are the one who is not rational. You are right about one thing, though, we do not seek after YOUR version of the truth.

And it is very strange, they consider themselves smart and intelligent, and say that the second person is stupid; but the truth is opposite that, because:
The believer in the true original religion of God alone; he may hope to be saved in the next world, then what they hope for?

Some of them will yet laugh and say: but there is no life after death!
I say who can claim this for certain? And how can they be sure of this idea?
Because of the lack of evidence. You don't understand what evidence is, do you?

The death is there, and it will evidently come, then doesn't man see that this way in life is standard: man is born, then will live for a certain life span then will die; and no one has ever remained from the start of mankind to this moment. So do they think this is in vain? This in fact is the proof that they are deluded.
It is proof of nothing.

Then when they die and discover that they have become some spiritual souls and they will suffer there; then who will avail them: Darwin or Marx or their other devils whom they admire so much?
No, because when you are dead, that is it; the end of the road, life ceases, no ghosties in lala land listening to little angels with wings n harps.

It is blatantly evident this discussion is that you have not a clue what evidence, proof, reasoning, etc. are. Which is why you cannot answer a question without copying and pasting someone else's words into your posts. You cannot think for yourself.
Please, do us a good turn and keep your religious ravings in the religious section.

Did you see the crazy picture of a supposed man on Mars someone found, from a photo taken there four years ago? What do you think? I think it looks like a statue; some think it’s something akin to the Tusken Raiders.

As far as what and how to think about all of this; please check out this excellent article by Neil Kramer over at The Cleaver. Neil has managed to put a lot of powerful thoughts and concepts together that I believe will resonate with many people, particularly those who spend time researching alternative topics.

So what is this "evident truth" you speak of, that there is no god but Allah and Mohamed is his prophet?

"This is in the Quran..." you will say, then provide the Arabic script, which probably nobody here can read but you so I don't know why you bother, and an explanation in English that we can only take your word for.
And those explanations are full of words and phrases in parentheses, so I don't know if the Arabic actually says that or if they're interpolations you've added for clarity, which rarely actually clarify anything anyway.
And when I look up your citations in English versions of the Quran, and I have access to several, they usually don't seem to have much to do with anything you said.

And you tell us that if we don't accept what you think is true we're going to Hell.

When I gave the thread about "Mars is inhabited", and mentioned in it the ideas that indicate the existence of life there, although they have not yet discovered such a thing; I then confirmed that by some Quranic revelations, and this is to confirm the idea, and at the same time draw the attention to the marvelous ayat of the Quran of God which is superior to time and generations.

Many have objected to the Quran, as if it stings them; whereas no need for such a reaction; why not the Quran confirms or draws their attention to things they are not aware of, and when they discover this fact they ought to study it and discuss many marvelous things included in it.

The Arabic text of the Quran that I mention, when I say: "This is in the Quran" is because the Quran is in Arabic, then if I say "This is in the Quran" then I mention the English words, this will mean the English words are the Quran, while they are not; they are only the translation of the meaning and explanation in English.

And this has been the mistake in many forums and foreign magazines and books: they cite some English translation of the meaning then say: this is the Quran; while it – whatever it be – is only a bad translation of the excellent original Quran.

The Quran is extensively deep and vast in its knowledge and information that it gives in spite of its concise volume. The foreigner who does not know Arabic, will only see some bad translation of some bad interpretation; and this has lead many to shrink from the Glorious Quran.

The translation will depend on the interpretation; and actually the translation is an interpretation but in another language. This applies also to the Torah and the Gospel; they were not revealed in English; but these are only some translation of a distorted and lost origin.

See here some Books of the Torah collection, which is included in the Old Testament; some of such books had been lost by the passing of time.
http://quranandhebrewbible.t35.com/#lost_book_of_bible

About the danger of the translation see this example:
>> The word آبي means "my Lord", but the word أبيmeans "my father"; so the original word which is present in the Arabic Gospel is آبيwhich means "my Lord" they changed it by the translation to mean: "my father" ; and what a great difference between the Lord and the Father; it seems that the words Lord and father are similar in the original languages, and the father is the lord (or the master or guardian) of the family in Arabic. The pronunciation of these two Arabic words is almost near to each other.

>> The word فتى means "son" and also means "servant" ; therefore, when the word is related to Jesus, they choose to translate it "son", and when it is related to others like Prophet David they choose to translate it "servant". I saw this in an Arabic version of the New Testament: the word used for both Jesus and David is the same word فتى then when I referred to the English version of the same aya of the Gospel, I found it "son" in relation to Jesus, and "servant" in relation to David; therefore, the Christian translator chose the word "son"; because he is enthusiastic concerning Jesus, and cannot imagine Jesus as a servant of God, while all other prophets are God's servants.

See this in the Acts of the Apostles 4: 25 & 27 and compare it in Arabic and other languages and see the old and new versions, and you will find what I told you is true.

Therefore, the original Quranic words in Arabic have to be kept as they are (while the original Torah and Gospel have been lost; and these English are only the translations)

Moreover, no one has any authority to say about himself and anyone else that he will go to Hell or Paradise; this only is up to God alone; and no one [including the prophets] may be admitted to Paradise unless by the grace and favor and forgiveness of God.

But it is decided by God that the associater who assigns equal or rivals to God and patrons with Him; the associater, atheist and idolater will not go to Paradise, and will abide in Hell forever.

when you are dead, that is it; the end of the road, life ceases,

So you will be glad; and everything will end; so cling to this life and enjoy yourself, until death will come and this will be the end, and man will be dust, and there will neither be requital nor any judgment!

But if the thing is opposite what you say; what will be the consequences?

Moreover, the dead man who has just died; what's the difference in his body one moment ago: he was alive, then all of a sudden he has died. Is not his soul departed from his body?

And when you speak about yourself and say: I said so and so, and I think so and so; do you mean your body that said or thought?

In addition, many men died temporarily then returned to life again; this is a well-known observation; how do you explain this?

Man on Mars ?

I don't mean you are falsifying the image and its description; but their images are not so precise; the image of the face on Mars is another example; then when they took the picture in other vews it turned to be not like the first picture.

In one of the forums, there were two images for comparison:
in the raw one a hill appeared of a certain height;
in the moderated image it became very low.

The Koran doesn't confirm anything. It is the work of a lunatic.

Many have objected to the Quran, as if it stings them;

You mean it stings people even crazier than Mohammad. Everyone else sees him for the douche bag he is; what you would call kafer actually means sane people.

whereas no need for such a reaction;

So you haven't heard of terrorists and suicide bombers; women forced to wear tents and that insane sharia law? There is plenty of reason to object to the ten thousand lunacies that is Islam!

Islam, like all religion, is a social parasite. It robs us of our humanity, logic and reason; it gets us to do horrid things we wouldn't do otherwise. Religion is a vile sickness; a cancer that should be cut out.

This is what I told you about: the Newspaper way of displaying any subject.
Whatever explanation may be said to you, you will return to the same points.

And you mix it with some words like terrorism and suicide bombers and you know who is doing all this; because it has been something known: that such acts are done by many intelligence agencies from the West and the enemy of Muslims; they explode them from faraway [by the remote control or the mobile phone], when these supposed suicide bombers! are unaware.

And I told you: you can read the Quran in Arabic but pretend not; because such reply cannot be unless from one [bearing rancor and some atheist attitude] and coming from the Arab region:

because the rest of people will respect Prophet Mohammed and the Quran and they know who was Prophet Mohammed who taught the most noble of the good manner and morale, and they know what is the Quran (in spite of being non-Arab) and know what the principles of the Islam and what civilization and culture it presented to all humanity.

That path is clearly defined, you have the answer to our ignorance, don't go only so far as to tell us we will never appreciate the Quran unless we speak it's mother tounge and then not do the prescribed task, that exalts none, not the Quran Al-Hilly or Allah.
I am atheist and gods servent and I already live in heaven.

I don't intend to teach Arabic; but there is some confusion about saying the translation of the meaning of the Quran, then saying: this is the Quran; while the Quran is superior to any translation; such translations are in fact the interpretation in some other languages.

Many translators are excellent in their language: some are foriegners and others are Arab; but the Quran is miraculous that it includes much meaning that may not be undertood at certain time and will be obvious at some other time later.

Moreover, a large number of its ayat are unknown and ambiguous which will be interpreted later on; moreover, some asked Prophet Mohammed about many of the ayat of the Quran, and he replied: "I don't know; God is All-Knowing; I heard it from the angel as such!" Then how can the translator translate such ayat and say this is the Quran (While the Quran is the word of God in Arabic): other than he can only give the explanation according to his understanding?

All of us are free to choose whatever we like, but the Quran will remain a demonstrative evidence against all who deny it and the other heavenly books.

Another point: Hearing the Quran recital in Arabic (of course) - but without musical tuning, but in the ordinary reading way - will have an extremely marvelous influence, even to one who does not understand Arabic; but as I said without singing or tuning.

Unaware? are you saying they are completly ignorant of the fact that they have 50lbs of explosives strapped to their chest? this is a bit of a stretch even for you.
