Under the Provincial Animal Welfare Act, anyone who harms an animal could be jailed for two years and fined as much as $60,000.
Yup2 years in jail for killing a dog or a cat.... how many years for killing a baby through abortion? Oh ya, that's right, the province will pay to have THAT done. Kill a baby, but god help you if you harm some animal.
