When I was younger, I used to wonder why seemingly normal Irish people could believe the assinine things they did about someone of a different religion, and convince themselves that it was okay to kill innocent women and children simply because of the church they attended.

If more and more people of different religions and races start filling in the gaps of our society, who gives a crap?
This whole fear that suddenly we're about to be overthrown, chucked to the bottom of society and have to convert to some other religion or method of living is just simply insane.... not to mention totally unfounded. It's not going to happen, no matter how much of the population is made up of one race or religion over another.
If anything, it'll be a good thing, because it will have to force Christians who love to shove their morals down everybody's throat already to mellow out a bit..... those from Muslim or other religion following will also have to mellow out..... balancing it out will force both to sit down in our nation and elsewhere and hack out a plan which allows both sides to express themselves equally and freely, without their morals and beliefs being forced onto anybody else, except those who wish to follow those religions.
I say good.... do it. I'm already sick and tired of Christians trying to change the laws and our ways of life to suit their own abortion, sex before marriage, same sex marriage, suicide, etc. morals and frankly, I'm sick to death about it. Religion has no place in government.... at least here it shouldn't. And if all of a sudden everybody's fears come true about others not of their race or religion becoming the majority, then expect quick shifts and plans to address these concerns in the government in order to please everybody..... and the only way will be to cut all ties of religious morals and beliefs from the government and law and to make sure laws and regulations are in place for each religion where they can express and practice their religions in their own ways, so long as no harm comes to their fellow human...... and that they can not force their religious views onto anybody else.
If this is put into place, then perhaps you might see less people trying to move here to change things, because they couldn't...... and you might even see some christians move to some place where they can.

And why should we not think the religious intolerance we see in the Muslim world wouldn't make its way here if it were to become the dominate religion? We are a democracy after all and the norms should be set by the majority.
