Actually, not entirely. Shipments of dry goods (does not include oil shipments) have dropped 58% to a 5 year low. This means a lot of things are slowing down and many are stopping entirely.
Whooops, just saw elsewhere that as of today the Index has dropped to a 30 year low. That's about where it was before globalization took right off, only this time we aren't manufacturing much of anything in the way of consumer goods anymore. There could very well be a noticeable shortage of certain consumer goods in 2016.
To give an idea of how bad things could be, Foxconn is laying off. Foxconn is the Chinese company that makes iPhones for Apple.


Even Investment Watch noticed that there were no commercial ships transiting the Atlantic. None!
