How about more low brow SCI FI ?
Did anybody like the Robot and Foundation series by Isaac Assimov ?

Hi Jimmy,

A lot of us consider Isaac Asimov to be one of the masters. I've read most of his sci-fi work including the Foundation trilogy that became four, then five, etc.

I'm not as literate in the SCI FI world but I was entranced by the Foundation series.
The movie, The Millenium Man with Robin Williams in it, was the closest movie I saw that captured
the spirit of Assimov's Robot and Foundation series.

It was what makes me believe we will design our own evolution in the form of a more
perfect robot.

All we need is a Susan Calvin to start us off..............I haven't seen that movie yet but I will. . I thought "I Robot" was nonsense.

Two books that are worth a read or two: "Silverlock" by John Myers Myers, and "Contact" by Carl Sagan.
