Perhaps if you paid the kind of taxes that the aforementioned pay, you'd be singing a very different tune.

Do yourself a favour and educate yourself on the tax system, you might start with searching the term "beer economics" in any search engine.... The anecdote is crude, however, quite descriptive of the system in question. In fact, let me help you out on the link: A lesson in economics using beer - two or three . net

Get back to me afterwards and you can tell me all about the easy and inexpensive path for these millionaire/billionaires.

How about since we now have effectively a fascist government we inform the Queen still having the power to fire a PM that she must remember she can still do so if we ask?

Seriously... give the Crown's power. That's the secret of survival up here.

The trick is to convince the Queen we really mean it.

The constitution says a Queen or a Governor General can fire a PM.

Therefore if you are aware of a problem the PM is not handling, you explain it to the Governor General, or the Queen.

Plus, I bet Canucks don't know the Queen has the power to take over the military if the PM goes evil.

Ah yes quite right, the millionaires and billionaires have it tough! I wonder how they can survive on their measly money! CUT MORE TAXES FOR THE RICH AND RAISE THEM FOR THE POOR I SAY!

Tell me more about Greece's situation, you're very astute and educated in the matter clearly.

Ofcourse you say this; that's what all socialists say. All you're concerned about is where is your next free lunch going to come from.

Ironic that you ask... Do a little poking around and get an idea of the different income and economic demographics in Greece. What you'll find is that there is a lower percentage of high net worth individuals and high earning corporate entities (especially multi-nationals) as compared to Canada, the US or many/most European nations.

Regarding these aforementioned groups: Guess what they all have in common?... They don't operate directly in Greece and therefore they don't pay into the tax base. They won't operate in Greece because of the punitive tax structure - the very same attitude that you maintain.

The Greek socialists still demanded all of the frills that they came to believe that life owed them. So much so that they kept getting loans to pay for their socialist utopia... Now, the ATM machine is dry and the free lunches are over, all they have left are memories and the butcher's bill.

Surprising that a guy who has a ren & stimpy avatar learned economics from spam e-mails

Any title to this info? Maybe in idea of a source?

I can already see the schism in this data set.

Eliminate the consumption based taxes like PST or GST and the graph looks entirely different. In fact, analyze the stats as they apply strictly to income and you'll begin to understand how skewed your offering is.

By the way... Any comment on the beer economics anecdote?

I'm guessing that you understand the moral in that story and just don't like it.
