The arrogance of these studdents thinking that THEY are the ones who should decide what is and what isn't "acceptable" speech. Who do they think they are?

The problem is that universities are too full of female students today. Most university students in Britain today are female, and the few male university students there are are hevaily discriminated against. All this PC groupthink and the silencing of anyone who dares utter any "unacceptable" comments and anything that isn't PC at universities only started when universities became female dominated, and I daresay it's no coincidence.

The UNITED STATES Department of Education IS big government.

There are all kinds of people who want free speech but they don't want to
take responsibility for what is said. Its not free speech many want it is not
being criticized for what they say, it is much like the red tick when someone
on here says something not liked by someone else.
In Canada we have hate speech laws, and people have the right to say it then
they have to contend with the fallout from saying it.
I think these young people should be allowed to look ridiculous for many get
government assistance going to school or their friends do.
Down the road they will sing a different tune likely

Yes... The Department of Health, Education, and Welfare... all 3 wrapped in one. But it was decided to make a new Department of Education with a new Secretary of Education.... in other words Big Government.
