There is a persistent and chilly Arctic Low sitting on the Canadian Prairie into ND SD KS NE MN that is clashing with powerful Highs off the Gulf. If it ever decides to warm up here, these big *** storms will subside.

It's not warming causing this, it is record cold that is driving this.

We had frost on the farm the other morning for Christ sakes.
