First of all, I'd like encourage everyone to boycott this event. Black is probably the worst person to speak up about Canadian sacrifice, as he is the crybaby who angrily renounced his Canadian Citizenship because he wanted a seat in the House of Lords. Black is also a convicted felon, having served six and a half years in US prison for fraud and obstruction of justice.
Once a recipient of the Order of Canada, Black was stripped of Order of Canada and is now appealing.
This pompous A-Hole is a Canadian of convenience and should not be speaking on behalf of the Canadians who gave their lives during the Great War.
In my opinion, the Vimy Foundation has lost its bloody mind and should consider a individual who, at the very least, is proud of their heritage and this Country to speak on behalf of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
I could think of far more suitable Canadians to speak at this event and encourage anyone who is in agreement to alert the VIMY FOUNDATION of their feelings in this matter.
