Weird question (& welcome aboard, by the way!), but seeing as this gripe
is about the Canadian National Anthem, and we haven't meet yet....can I
ask if you happen to be Canadian? Just looking for perspective.

I don't believe in God and everytime I sing the anthem of this great coutry I am forced to praise him.

Are you forced? How are you praising if you have no belief in Him? Why is it even a "him" to you if you do not believe?

I think it would be incumbent upon the Church of England to continue to do their own thing
if the Muslim population want a school then the people should establish their own. I get a
little ticked when we as a western society go beyond the be nice to people policy. We in the
west have our traditions and religious beliefs which are just as valid or invalid as other societies.
I am not devout anything but this is becoming devoid of logic to take this avenue.
If I were the church of England I would say if you want an education that is fine but we own the
place and here are the rules done

Yes well that's all fine and dandy upholding tradition preserving the cultural finery and all but what about the collection plate, I mean there is overhead to consider.
