Christmas ain't the same? Sure it is its changed a bit because we grow up
and provide the magic of the season for the little ones,in that there is a bit of
magic lets you see the world as a kid again. I have twenty four grand kids
a half dozen great grand kids its a lot of fun a bit noisy with nineteen for dinner
but its still fun. Christmas is what you make it. We taught our kids to enjoy
every holiday that comes along its a chance to be together. There are some
dogmatic in their religious aspect and those who use the occasion the rest of us
use the day to celebrate the goodness of life and the gift that it is

Eagle Sh1t will still look like an a$$hole, though.

It seems the same turkey who was bad mouthing seniors for being greedy, is now admonishing someone for being a crotchety old fart. :) :) I guess hypocrisy is always with us in some form. :)

You didn't read what he wrote....did ya. He was home alone, that's why he is whining. His "family" either don't feel he is important enough to spend the holidays with him, or for some reason they don't want to. I've made a few "suggestions" as to why that is.

Unlike you and I, he doesn't have family that love him enough to care.

Who says I wasn't with my family you stupid presumptuous bastard? I have several siblings nieces and nephews which we all get together at Easter and Christmas. This year for reasons that are none of your fukking business I'm spending the holidays with my oldest daughter, son in law and four grand children. The post was about how it was in the old days. When my grand parents and parents were alive and my kids were little. JLM is right I think you are mentally ill. Maybe if you give your local priest a blow job he'll give you some counseling Pudney. You're obviousley sick in the fukkin head.

again... happily married with a full house over the holidays.

while you are posting a poor me thread about being old and alone over the holidays.

Nothing like shining a light on how useless you truly are.
My condolences to your family having to look at your sorry azz on the holidays.

Really, that's not what you told Kreskin.

Kids are grown and live in different states, parents been dead for some time, I'm divorced , and it's just not family anymore. Donn't feel like chasing women at my age so, it's just another day. If I get to feelin better it will be time for the casinos.

Just can't keep your stories straight.

Get a life Pudney and stop feeding on everyone elses experience. Maybe the old lady will let you go have drinks with Canook and you two can watch a porno flick afterward sap.

Just speaking in general terms why would someone want to make an issue out of someone else's circumstances? Sometimes circumstances are a person's choice, sometimes they just evolve from a combination of conditions and sometimes they are an assortment of permutations and combinations and most importantly why would someone else actually give a continental f**K? :) :)

Pudney feeds off of others experience. His wife is probably over bearing and this is the only way he feels he can try to be a man. I'm thinking ma and pa kettle in Poodney's life. He's to be pitied.

Ma & Pa Kettle's life was hilarious! On another subject did you ever read the book "The Egg and I"? It's the book Ma and Pa Kettle was based on, real life story that took place in hills near Port Angeles Washington in the 1930s and 40s. It will be in the Library............."The Egg and I" by Betty MacDonald.

I'll check that out. Not sure about the library in the small town up the road but maybe I'll get back to the Phoenix Public Library. They have five floors of books.

Use to be fun. The tree. The music. The gifts. Family get together. Friends. Pitchin the football out in the front yard. Watching my kids having fun. Moms pies. Mom. No, Christmas ain''t the same.

Such is the heartache of Christmases past. Nothing is the same until you're dead.
My Christmas past was filled with family and Scrooge the Alister Simm original. Black and white magic to me. They do not make films like that in these fukked up days.

I got an eight pack of prayers earlier this evening. I had to brave the elements which are in flux this evening, blowing snow and poor visability, added to my normal poor visability and constant smoke.
