Still haven't read the article have you? The demand was for paid compassionate leave for the death of a friend. In the original list of demands that was published in several newspapers it did not specify that the friend had to be human. You can be the shill for the teachers union all you want but the fact is they are out to lunch as well as overpaid.

Actually if you had any comprehension skills at all you would know it is fact. AS is the fact that teachers in BC are overpaid, militant and out of touch with reality.
And that would be INFORMED union MEMBER who posted it.
