I am a farmer, if I have to abide by regulations they bloody well should too.
As for not knowing I also read some of the comments on the bottom of this
story, one moron from Alberta blames it on the unions, what is that all about.
It is the law get used to it that is not a union law its Provincial Law.
What if there was an accident where someone got hurt because the just let
them continue. Can you imagine the legal action that would follow?

It's a small lil tractor so what is the problem?
Some folks have obviously never been in Alberta or SK during harvest time.
Try dodging a combine or harvester thats wider then the highway and it is a daily thing during the harvest.

:)

I dont know about B.C. but in most of the west you ALLWAYS give a farmer and his tractor or other equipment the right of way.

They helped build and settle this country,That demands a little respect from other motorists.

If they are going to Vancouver Island wait until they pull out the credit card at the ferry terminal. It will make a permit look like peanuts.

Ever seen a blueberry harvester ? You want to see a "fleet" of these contraptions roaring down a two lane road.

I like the comments that the roads are narrower in bc than out east...don't these people read the story? People is where they started, which probably means they crossed the confederation bridge.

Why do people in bc have such a hard time?

Maybe it's just me but having worked in all 3 western provinces I find BC'ers have a me first attitude,Albertans have a get her done get out of my way attitude and SK folks have a "we're all in this together,do you need a hand" attitude.

Folks should remember who built the first roads in the west.
If someone has not volunteered a pilot car for them yet I know lots who would free of charge.

I spent over 20 years in BC working union, she was me first all the way amongst most members, you allways saw it during srikes, lockouts or wobbles(wildcats).

Got to partly agree with you there, but what you are hearing is a minority of loud whiners. There's lots here who just do their job without whining!

True,every province has whiners.
I live on the Alberta/BC border, they whine and cry about Albertans getting bussed into bc to work and yet they are the first ones you see at the Alberta walmart, beer and gas stores.

The roads in BC aren't just narrower than most I've seen in other provinces, but they are windier, steeper, and at least as busy, and fewer and farther between, because of the terrain. Taking a slow moving vehicle through the mountains is bordering on intent to injure. It being the end of summer there will be the usual construction stoppages, holiday frenzy, and the odd inevitable looney, A police escort would be a nice gesture.

I shouldn't complain though considering I get free fuel then I don't pay the taxes for road maintenance either.

On a lighter side I am looking forward to their documentary.

Your continued claim of the illegal act of running dyed fuel and tax evasion, aside. Road maintenance is mostly paid for from general taxes.
