It's been what? 30 years since Canada had it first female PM?

Little Kim

Had our country not been so pissed off and thoroughly fed up with Lyin' Brian, she might have gone on to be one of the best serving PMs we ever had, IMHO.

She had potential but a generation had passed and change inevitable...just to be different than mom and dad. Sound familiar?

The glass ceiling in Canada was already broken by a woman, if anyone can remember that far back. Albeit, she was never elected - except by her party and her term was far too short but for one brief shining moment Kim Campbell was the Prime Minister of Canada and was most deserving of the honor.
If she was deserving of the honor she would have won more then 2 seats in the general election .

You know the level of anger there was about the Conservative government and what happened to them after this last election. That was the level of anger leveled against Lyin' Brian and his Conservative government...........Kim didn't have a chance.

She didn't loose because she was a woman.
I bet more people voted for her because she was a woman than voted against her because she was a woman.

And that was the problem with the DNC elite. They felt America owed her the title to be the first.

And Wynne has to quit being so shallow in her outlook. Benazir Bhutto became the first woman PM of Muslim Pakistan and of course Indira Gandhi of India. I would call that shattering the glass ceiling as those 2 countries of male dominance.........

It wasn't Trump that failed to win over female voters - it was Clinton.

Of course, we're going to see a lot of hysterical whining and whingeing from the liberals saying how bad his presidency will be for women and all this nonsense, yet it was women who helped put him into office.

Clinton also failed to win over the Hispanic and negro vote.

So the lefties can stop whingeing.

Hillary lost because more disgusted Democrats refrained from voting than repulsed Republicans. Both choices were lousy. Reps nagged errant voters more or Dems might just be stronger willed....

Of course she was the sacrificial lamb . She still did not generate any support.

Wynne doesn't surprise me. It's typically Canadian to elect people for their gender or ethnicity or because they look pretty. It doesn't matter if they have any intelligence or integrity, just push those minorities up there at any cost to society.
Oh and don't forget, In Canada no intelligent person can advance politically unless they speak French!

If we ever find a woman who is beautiful, non-white, a recent immigrant and lies a lot I'm sure she'll get elected!
