As someone who grew up with a wierd name, let me say, you aint doing your kid any favours. I'd go with James if thats what you like. If you are set on a wierd name (and aren't in favour of Guybrush Threepwood)

Guy: Ferris, Logan, Orian, Julian, Abraham
Girl: Rose, Katrina, Julia, Penelope, Blossom

Out of curiosity, anybody know where Hermann is?

Yep.

He's doing well. His wife has moved down now that school's done, and they've got a new apartment.

He spends most of his debate time on rawdemocracy now, but I'm sure you probably knew that part.

I've kept in touch with him. Just not as well as I wish these days. lol. Summer's crazy.

Oscar... that's unique. I'll have to mull that one over in my head. Do I get to call him Ossy? If I get to call him Ossy, I'm ALL for it!

Amelia, I love that one... a definite keeper... for next time. lol.

Wow, Aurora came up on that. I really thought that one was pretty unique to my family. I've never heard it outside of my relates.

Newfoundland!
the good thing about that one is it lists the top 1000 names so it has some pretty uncommon ones.

It doesn't have Hermann though. It does have herman, although that drops out of the top thousand back in the early 1900s i think
