At the end of her day..... do you think all that vitriol spinning in Ms. Coulter's mind is really fun for her - a good life would you say?

I doubt it - nobody can spend every day viewing negatives and putdowns as their bread and butter - there has to be some humor involved or at least humor with a sprinkle of sarcasm.

She must be a lonely woman in her real life. I think she puts off many people maybe because she is so insecure with herself she lashes out at others before they can insult her.

I wonder if we don't have her alter ego on this forum.

I see that her Ottawa speech was cancelled, due to security concerns, when 2000 protesters showed up.

That will just give her more attention; far better would be if we all ignored her.

I just read where her speech in Ottawa was cancelled because of a large protest, presumably by people who were insulted by her camel remark. She still has one date left in Calgary.......see what happens.....;-)

I'm not sure, but the CBC News left me with the impression she canceled the speech herself....

Hardly has "the courage of her convictions", does she? (if true)

If anyone else canceled it, shame on them! If she canceled it, shame on her!

So, freedom of though only applies to those that agree with your own set of preconceived "Canadian" ideals.......

Funny, my family has been Canadian since 1782.......yet I get the hint you would have me branded "anti-Canadian"........and then go on to claim the right wing is a threat to freedom...

Perhaps you need to re-think.

I don't need to rethink anything. As far as I am concerned, considering her comments about Canadians and Canada, she should not be allowed in this great Country. Any Canadian that supports this b*tch does not deserve to live here or call themselves Canadian.

Someone actually stood up and asked her what she thinks of Muslims?

Ummm, ok.

Well thought out political question. That's a winner. I would have been inclined to give a smart-ass answer to a question like that too.

I did google her, too long of a writeup for my feeble mind to pore through, but with that length of dissertation, she has to be a pretty important person.........

No surprise.

She doesn't know enough to be worth taking seriously.

While I would usually agree with you Dexter, I am however looking at this from a different perspective..

Coulter has an audience.. That makes her attractive in many more marketable ways and I guarantee that is what they all jumped on as soon as the University emailed her..

Fox News may not be considered a reliable source ( by some ) but it has a great and loyal audience that live for this stuff on both sides of the border.. That makes her strong as far a marketing presence..

Expect much more in the next few hours from the original issue as well as the cancelled Ottawa conference..

I read it was cancelled because they could not insure her safety.

that's great, cancel her engagements, send her home, we
don't need that trash talk here, or that trash in our
country, she isn't funny at all, and she is just standing
up their to make everyone gasp, and make big bucks from
doing that, just makes fools out of us, and pays her to
do it.

Lets pay people to talk and say things that better our
lives and the world.

Her and Fox News are perfect for one another, both very
tacky.

Is she hired to be a stand up comic, I'm serious, is that
what she is being brought in to do, or are people actually
expecting to learn something from her, I'm sure there
many people in the wings who could talk to our young
people and say many intelligent and inspiring things,
who don't get a chance, but they will let her in the
door, disgusting.

Agreed, but it's that ill-informed audience that concerns me, not Ms. Coulter herself, if it weren't her it'd be somebody else, like Bill O'Reilly or Rush Limbaugh. They appeal to probably the most ignorant, frightened, angry and stupid fraction of the population, maybe 10 or 15 percent. They're the people the lunatic fringe of the political extremes on both the left and right mobilize with the big lie. I don't know any other way to explain a phenomenon like people without health insurance protesting against a plan that would give them health insurance. It was the big lie: creeping socialism, death squads, murdering babies...
