All Aether Islanders, particularly those from the northern latitudes, celebrate the sun's stopping by and the rebirth of summer. However, there is a touch of sadness too, as we see our shadows shorten. For we know, as Willy the Bard reminds us, "...summer's lease hath all too short a date."
