With :55 seconds left in the 4th, Calgary with a 5 point lead will pick up their first win against the Al's in five years.
First TD of the game scored when Willie Jefferson grabbed a pick of Reilly and ran it into the end zone with just over a minute left in the game. Riders lead by 4 with 1:32 left.
Esks go for it on 3 and 16............Rider D steps up and bag Reilly.............3 TO of game for Esks...........Rider ball with :58 to go.
Riders unable to advance will have to punt with :17 left. Riders run down the clock then call a time-out........:14 ..........Lauther who hasn't exactly been stellar on attempts tonight puts one through from around the 30 to give the Rider a 19 - 12 lead with :09 left. After the punt, the Esks with :02 left will take the ball at their 30. Reilly manages a Hail Mary pass that Mitchell catches at the 9 just as the clock runs out. Riders win.

Well pete, we have sole possession of 2nd place; Bombers are two points behind in 3rd; BC and now the Esks are tied for 4th with 7 wins apiece. Looking good going into the stretch.
Still 3 western teams to play yet.

What would we do without our D...........after an unimpressive initial series for the Riders that saw Zach's first pass almost intercepted and the drive continued only due to Bomber penalty but stopped long before sight of the end zone, the D comes through to force Winnipeg to 2 and out.
On the first play of the Rider's next series, Moore coughs up the ball...........recovered by Bombers and taken all the way for a TD.......convert is good and Winnipeg strikes first........
Winnipeg's Loffler just intercepted Zach..............again and will take possession in Rider territory with just over 6 minutes to go in the 1rst Q.
And again our Defense comes to the fore to force another 2 and out on the Bombers..........no points off that TO........thank you Universe
