CERTAINLY MOST OF THESE POSTS GET OFF TRACK AND TAKE MINDS OF THEIR OWN, The orginal track of this post really had not much to do with the Catholic religon, more about a group of people suggesting that they want no interference with their way of life. The only thing the Church has to do with it is the fact that most of these small town Quebecers had water sprinkled on their heads when they were born and show up maybe once or twice a year to a Christmas and Easter mass...and funeral..R.C. ways are more traditional in Quebec rather than a practice.

And you're right about the new guidelines for entrance into Holy Orders. Having a homosexual inclination will automatically stop the process towards ordination. This was a decision by the Vatican a few years ago put into force by Pope John Paul 2nd.
Aren't priests supposed to be celibate anyway? What is the big difference between a celibate homosexual and a celibate heterosexual?

Not all priests are celibate. If they're married they can have sexual relations with their wives.
