You can all say its 'conspiracy theory' but this is entirely about securing oil. Iraq was about securing oil and the profit from it. Protecting Kuwait in 91 was about oil and oil profit. Humanitarian issues are a cover story, if they actually meant anything there would be intervention all over Africa not just in the cherry picked oil producing nations.
Remember the whole WMD and humanitarian reasons for Iraq, turns out one was completely false and the other was highly exagerrated. Yet since the invasion Haliburton ( Dick Cheney's former and present company) has generated over $1 trillion in revenue out of Iraq. Shell oil (Condaleeza Rice's old company) has shown over $300 billion in profit form Iraqi oil fields. The Carlyle Group (Bush 1 & Bush 2) has profited over $100 billion from their defence contracts.
Its very hard to look at history like this and the lack of intervention in other areas (Congo, Ivory Coast, Somalia) and not be very skeptical of governmental motives. The french are the biggest proponents of the present Lybian situation and miraculously its not even noticed or mentioned that Gadafhi cut them of from Lybian oil last year. Like I said, hard not to be a skeptic.
