as of today all gains made this year on the toronot stock exchange are wiped out. and it's not looking like it's gonna turn around any time soon.

the next time a finnacial adviser/salesmen approaches you ask him if he was able to thwart off these loses for his customers. ask for proof....

I did this in the 80's during the big nightmare over junk bonds....they have no answer.....

At what level do they actually know what they really are doing.
If they can't tell you when you are about to lose everything they are nothing more than clerks selling faulty products.

Tell me otherwise.
Actually I was just baiting you to say something horribly insulting but yet very funny :p

Would that have been marbled cheddar Doc?

My god i dumped her thinking she was like a mutant....yes we had a snack thing, now that i recall, of cheese and shrimp with shrimp sauce the night before watching porn in bed.....it must have been the leftovers....
Durka is god...too bad i did not know ya i could have told ya and saved the relationship....she cried when i called her a mutant and did want to breed with her for fear my daughters would have marbleised menstual cycles...she begged me to stop making fun and get serious...i was serious...man i blew that one didn't i?

You really did blow that one Doc. You shouldn't have cast her off to the glue factor so quickly, I probably would have sold her to the gypsies or something.

I have never had a financial advisor, I rely on the advice I receive from my magic eight ball.

I think I would let Yahoo Finance manage my **** before hiring some guy with a clip-on tie to do the same. :)

Oh, I definitely know what I'm doing...

so honestly you saw this coming ?
honestly...you made money it somehow by seeing it coming and all your clients?
If you were around the other big and minor corrections the same questions..honestly now....
before you answer..i know a partner in price waterhouse coopers who missed all of the above along with all the other partners.....everytime....

well, I think they're a lot like doctors in the sense that they're just educated guessers and sometimes don't guess any better than the rest of us uneducated guessers.

If we had sold out on the advice of the media back in 04/05 when talk-media gurus claimed everything overbought, where would we be today? We're down to December 06 levels. As a buddy of mine said today, he remembers a few years ago when he was hoping Canadian tire would reach $35. Now it falls to mid $70's and the world is coming to an end.

I once heard Dave Chilton "the Wealthy Barber" describe the best investor profile..the little old lady with stocks in her safe deposit box that she didn't know were there. If she did she would have sold them decades ago. Now she's wealthy beyond her imagination having not made the usual investor mistakes.

The average person doesn't have the time, discipline or resources to make the right decisions.

Why does Tiger Woods need a golf coach?
