SEYNE-LES-ALPES, France -- A Germanwings jet carrying 150 people from Barcelona to Duesseldorf slammed into a remote section of the French Alps on Tuesday, sounding like an avalanche as it scattered pulverized debris across a rocky mountain and down its steep ravines. All aboard were assumed killed.
The pilots sent out no distress call and had lost radio contact with their control centre, France's aviation authority said, deepening the mystery over the A320's mid-flight crash after a surprise 8-minute descent.
"The site is a picture of horror. The grief of the families and friends is immeasurable. We must now stand together. We are united in our great grief," German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said in a statement after being flown over the crash scene and briefed by French authorities.
The crash left officials and families across Europe reeling in shock. Sobbing, grieving relatives at both airports were led away by airport workers and crisis counsellors. One German town was rent with sorrow after losing 16 high school students coming back from an exchange program in Spain.
"This is pretty much the worst thing you can imagine," a visibly rattled Haltern Mayor Bodo Klimpel said at a hastily called press conference.
After night fell on the hard-to-reach site, French authorities called off the search and helicopters stopped flying over the area.
About 10 gendarmes will spend the night at the crash site to guard it, and search operations will resume at daybreak, Lt. Col. Jean-Marc Meninchini of the regional police rescue service, told The Associated Press in the mountain town of Seyne-les-Alpes. Recovery operations are expected to last a week, he said.

Listened to CNN and a former crash investigator said the plane was at 30,000 feet then made an emergency descend to 20,000 feet and when you consider the french alps is almost 16,000 feet it will be probably pilot error due to depressurization

Not that we know of. Too bad, enit?

Well, there are reports in the British press that the pilot - or somebody else from the cockpit - was locked out of the cockpit and was not allowed back into it, even after repeatedly banging on the door, just before it crashed. It seems something suspicious has occurred on that aeroplane.

Commonsense does dictate that the Musalmans are at it again. They are, logically, the first suspects in such cases.

That's true. They are notorious practical jokers, those scamps!

I think the authorities should be trying to find out if one of the pilots was a Muslim:

Did one Germanwings pilot deliberately lock the other out of the cockpit? Flight recorder reveals colleague tried to smash door down - as it emerges access code can be disabled from INSIDE

One of the two pilots flying the ill-fated Germanwings flight was locked out of the cockpit before the aircraft crashed into a remote region of the French Alps (pictured left), it has been reported. Audio taken from the black box voice recorder (inset) that was salvaged from the obliterated wreckage of the Airbus A320 indicates the pilot left the cockpit and could not re-enter, an official told the New York Times. A senior military official involved in the investigation said the pilot is heard knocking lightly on the door (similar to the one pictured right) of the cockpit before hitting the door harder when he gets no answer. It indicates that just one of the two pilots on board was flying the plane - and that the second became panicked after he was unable to get back into the cockpit. The revelation is the first insight into what took place on the aircraft in the moments before the plane (inset) plummeted into the mountainside, killing all 150 people on board including a British seven-month-old boy.

Cause they don't like him.

And I don't like them, so the feeling's mutual.

If it turns out this is yet another Mohammedan attack (and it seems this crash could have been caused by foul play), I expect to be given a full, grovelling apology from you and your pal.

It was an airbus. Could have taken a notion to park on its own. Could have been another brit couldn't stand his bad teeth any longer. Or a jew banker couldn't take the humiliation of making less than 200% return on an investment. Any of which will cause you to owe us a great deal of beer.

If there is a note in the co-pilot's apartment detailing his depression and mental illness, and stating exactly how he is going to crash the plane, and subsequent investigation shows that he is a German Lutheran whose German ancestry goes back to the Middle Ages, it'll still be the Muzzies' fault in Blackleaf's excuse for a mind.

The Airbus A320 is was one the safest aeroplanes out there.

For every million takeoffs, the A320 fleet has about 0.14 fatal accidents, according to a Boeing study that analysed five decades of air disasters. That puts it on par with the Boeing 777 as one of the least dangerous commercial planes in the sky.

One of the world's most widely used aircraft, it is flown by virtually every U.S. airline, and one of the A320 fleet's jets takes off or lands every 2.5 seconds.

Or a jew banker couldn't take the humiliation of making less than 200% return on an investment.
That's racist. Are you a Hitler-lover?
