I have a pot of apple juice and spices simmering, eagerly awaiting the arrival of some friends and a bottle of spiced rum. Yummy.

At the moment I am enjoying a glass of Ceres Guava Juice. I love this brand of juice because it contains juice, nothing but the juice, so help me...

After reading some of the above threads, I have developed a sudden thirst for something stronger than juice. When it comes to beer I tend to like the Belgian ones. My choice tonight would be Hoegaarden white beer.

From the Hoegaarden site: "Hoegaarden gets its great taste partly due to there being special ingredients added during the brewing process, such as - wheat, coriander and curacao orange peels. Also the pale, cloudy appearance of this mysterious looking drink is all thanks to an additional second fermentation in the bottle. "

Cheers!

Guava?

Many moons ago, my Grandma used to make guava sherbet. I have never tasted a better frozen treat in all these years.

Guava sherbet? This deserves some investigation - sounds delightful. I don't think sherbet it that difficult to make either. I remember making some lemon sherbet years ago. I might have to give this a try!
