Is it just me, or do you get annoyed when "patriotic" Canadians say this and that about Americans.

Now, this is different then the nation of America, I am talking about when Canadians bash the PEOPLE of America.

This extremely annoys me.. there is many flaws with the USA, but Americans aren't "evil".

Is it now patriotic and "Canadian" for us to make fun of and bash American people? Do we really lack an identity so much that we have to call identify ourselves as "NOT American".

This has always been an annoying thing to me.

When major US news media post headlines like "doctor plays whack-a-mole on Bush's face" it's pretty much an open invitation to Bash Americans. I can't think of any other country in the world that would treat it's one leader so disrespecfully in the news ... it's like teenagers have taken over the airwaves.

If you find it insulting when someone points out your failings, might I suggest you do some soul searching. If someone points out I'm fat, I just reply, "Your grasp of the obvious is nothing less then breath taking". I don't get all high and mighty and call the person insulting.
