Russia's ambassador to Turkey fatally shot in Ankara

Andrey Karlov, the Russian ambassador to Turkey, was shot and killed in the capital Ankara on Monday.

An Associated Press photographer said a gunman fired shots at Karlov at a photo exhibition where the ambassador was making an address.

Sources have confirmed to CBC News that Karlov has died from his injuries.

The Turkish police officer who killed Russian Ambassador Andrew Karlov has been identified as Mevlüt Mert Altıntaş of the Ankara Riot police.

Altıntaş, 22, was a graduate of Izmir Police School. He was not on duty when he made the attack at an art gallery on Monday, according to two Turkish Security sources who spoke to Reuters.

Russia's foreign ministry confirmed that the ambassador, Andrew Karlov, had died in the attack. Altıntaş was shot and killed after assassinating Karlov. Maria Zakharova, the spokeswoman for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has announced that they qualify the assassination as a terrorist attack. "We qualify what happened as a terror attack. We are currently in contact with Turkish authorities who are assuring us that a thorough, comprehensive investigation will be conducted," Zakharova stated.

They should conclude that Obummer was behind it after all his threats of retaliation for costing Clingon the election. Air Force one might have one more flight after Donald takes the reins. All the despots that have been involved in attacks against Russia including the passenger jet that was blown out of the sky.

Turkey has a history of not catching any attacks. Mind you the fake coup let them clean up any opposition, perhaps Trump should at least look at who was rounded up.
I still think all of DC should be put under lock and key until they offer up full confessions. The reluctant ones can be put on a derelict cruise ship and name it the Titanic II before it sets sail for the far, far north.
