Half of Canadian soldiers faced childhood abuse, study indicates - Health - CBC News

"Prevalence much higher in military than in general population, Canadian-led research suggests."

I wonder how improving mental health cervices for for veterans and mental health services for the general population could potentially both benefit soldiers in the long run in that it would ensure that soldiers get help not only after seeing combat, not only after military training, not only after joining the military, but even before he joins the military.

I don't know the answer, but I figured I'd post it here for conversation.

Nobody ever abused me. I can't answer for anyone else.

Did Terence McKenna do this one, by any chance?

In Canada a member of the general population can barely get a doctors appointment let alone this kind of evaluation.
